It’s probably old! Most bags like these sometimes get dropped mistakenly by people, it gets mud stains, or even just worn out and old! So yeah, there could be a lot that went through this bag!

My mum had a Louis Vuitton Speedy when I was younger and she regrets giving it to a second hand designer seller instead of keeping it and giving it to me. I remember it had a ink stain inside but other than that it was in good condition
I have a teen daughter and I'm not really a "bag" lady but I'm growing a bag collection to give it to her when she becomes an adult. And I make sure to buy designs that will always be a classic.

I think most people buy it secondhand without knowing the exact value, maybe on a thrift shop or similar and they get ruined with time and owner changing. Then, when a bag like this comes to the right hands, they decide to restore it and give it a second precious life! :D
they probably have a closet full of bags they abuse. rich people will buy designer and have no idea how to care for it. they just use it to hold things

The restoration is just perfect but the bag before restoration was also full of personality and I would use it just like it is. PS: I miss the videos with background music. I think it's really boring watching it without music so I skipped most of parts and watched less than 30 seconds of it probably.

Its about £100 just to clean up a bag so you can imagine dyes stitching repairing scuff marks will be huge
Sometimes repair work ends up costing more than a new bag so make sure you get your quotes from multiple places

That's what I'm curious about. They may have the paint color swatches from the factory.
They used the color that was under a buckle which is the original. They show how they matched the color in the video.
