I was hoping you did this build from 3D Sets. Can't wait for the build guide, always good. Going to start printing mine soon. Hope you give some how-to tips on the multi-color printing, still working on the Landy build, stopped cause I did the belt conversion after it came out. Keep up the awesome work.
th-cam.com/video/5hRXXB6GgP4/w-d-xo.html The multicolor printing was easy with my Prusa MK3s but it will depend on you printer. 3DSets has gcode for Prusas already which makes it easy but they also have PrusaSlicer build plates pre-set-up that have the color-change built in so you don't need to worry.

I m about to start printing mine and i was wondering, what did you use for the windows?
I think this was a desk protector sheet I got from a business supply store but easiest to find is a clear binder report cover.
Nice! How well do the printed parts fit together? Do you need to do much sanding?
There is no sanding at all required as long as your printer is calibrated well.
Do you do “custom”shells/body? And if not who would?, just looking for a personal body that I can’t really find🙏🏽 but awesome build love the #Ateam😎🤙🏽

Curious to the gear noise. Is this normal for all 3d set models?

nice just got finisched with the model 2 and a hummer h1 military. and now im at about 60% with the printing of the van ;-P. i think ill get the buggy to ;-P. i think i am adicted. just orderd 2 more printers. i used the belt drive version of the gear, it is so quiet and has power. i do wheeles on 3s, could go 4s but i geuss thats redicules mode.
Hmm, never tried 4s but the motor/ESC combo I've used aren't rated for it. If you want more power maybe try a higher C rating on your battery like 50 or more and watch the temps. The buggy is definitely a fun build as well.
@@rcprinter i meent on 3s its allready a rocket.and my esc is rated for 4s 120a. ;-P i dont whant to damege the beltdrive. but i think i will do it for science, and upload it to my channel.

@@rcprinter just tryed 4s but dont seem to make any difference at all. 😞 i think the motor is at its limit. but it still can reach up to 50 kmh and has power to pull off with wheeles. i will make a video anyway, with specs like motor esc. and the difference between geard ore belt drive is like day and night ;-).

Can it be built like a plain cargo van without the fender flares?

do i need different colors of pla to get the balck and gray and red?
yeah, the walls are multicolor prints so you tell your slicer to pause the print and then you change the filament color and resume.

Yessir, all of it.
You should learn to print with ASA, it will be SUBSTANTIALLY stronger.
