    just printed and assembled the boat. do you have the measurements where you drilled the home for the shaft? im not into rc boats at all, so have no starting point.

    Looks Great? What did you use to mount your servo and ESC?

    • @bchobby
      @bchobby  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! I just used Velcro to mount them both. That way I can easily remove them when needed. I also swap them into other projects sometimes.

    How this did you make your walls. I just finished printing mine and worried to sand a lot on it I made mine 1.2mm thick

    What would you charge for a 46" cat hull with canopy shiped in pieces ready to assemble?

      Thanks! I got it on cults3d. I had to modify the length a little bit. Here is the link.

    Nice build! I have a similar build on my channel with the jet boat from thingiverse.
    I didn't use any resin to cover my boat but in hindsight maybe I should have. Did it add noticable strength ? Are you worried the resin will separate and crack off the plastic or does it bend enough not to do that?

    • @bchobby
      @bchobby  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! It was my first 3D printed boat. I just know PLA will absorb water so I wanted to coat it. I have seen others coat it in carbon fiber. As for it delamination I have not had any problem yet. Waiting for winter to end before I can do some real testing.

      I am not sure if there is a 24" version. You could probably just scale it down in the slicer.

    In will not do this anymore. I wll buy a hull in future as we did before. I pay my 200€ an havr a perfekt GFK or CFK hull. If you calculate time and extra painting stuff you are near the 200 €. The boat is not tight not that stiff .... so it was nice but6 I stopped it.
