Nice long video Richy, now you did well selling Vientiane there and to be fair it looked brilliant, like I said before I’ve been around town on an hour or two tourist trap tour in a mini van and I mostly saw tourist shops and a couple of temples, that night market food Drew a blank even after your recognisance sortie, I think we can conclude the food in Laos is pretty dire,.I hope the western food is better presented ?, I know you were being cautious food wise because of your travel day, but it’s only a hop skip and a jump travel day,. It will be chalk and cheese, or should that be chalk and flies street food wise when your back in LOS (land of smiles) check out “ now in Laos” he’s the man for Laos travel, he’s been up north to some small poor villiages giving handouts to the locals. Bit like you giving your dinner away !,.money well spent (30000 Kip) to go up the arc de triumph, looking forward to the delights of NK,. Cheers,.
Thanks Mike I’ll check him out for when I return in the future. Yes mate the Laos food was not good, even the western food was very cheap so also not good quality.
I liked Vientiane but a few days is enough, it’s really small for a capital. Safe to say I’m pleased to be back in Thailand mate.

Yes the gold I would never buy, I don’t have a clue so I’d steer clear. The fountains were lovely, the problem is the go pro doesn’t like the dark and also the lights are supposed to be temperamental. Sometimes there on sometimes not, I need to know so I can build my vlog around that👌🏻

If on your travels you re considering the Caribbean don't take a camouflage backpack or trousers, tops etc as camo is specifically banned there and you may be arrested, detained or fined.

i have been 3 times in Vientiane , seems like it has been huge inflation , because price numbers has doubled....but i think purchasing power is still about same than years ago

@ParkinsonRaw that's its nick name... just go to China Town mate I belive its yaowarat road. China town is the best for seafood.. Don't go on a Monday as all is closed for street cleaning.. enjoy!

It costs more than Thailand because everything is imported from Thailand.
Yes I understand that mate, I’d previously been told by a lot of people that Laos is cheaper than Thailand, I never seen that to be honest.
But the Ace Pro is a little bit heavier than the GoPro but it's smashes the GoPro out of the water with it's performance

Richy, be careful around some of those government buildings with your camera, especially that US one with all the fancy aerials and communication equipment. I got into strife a few years ago in Burma. They look quite, but there might be a guard with a machine gun, around the corner.,not happy with you waking up his afternoon nap.
