Hi Richy. Glad you had a great day. Well it's not often I turn out to be right about anything! That's one of those odd facts that has always stuck in my head! All the best
Hi Bernie, it’s funny the things that stick in your mind. Thanks mate and you have a good day.
Always laughing your mam she's never changed lovely lady 😊
She is funny June, as you say a heart like gold too😊
Whitby looks like a proper nice place. Hope you’re feeling rested Richy 👍❤️
Hi to you both, we had a great day thanks. I am feeling great now, ready to return in a few days totally refreshed 👌🏻❤️
@@ParkinsonRaw lovely to hear that mate ❤ we are in Bangkok for the next 3 weeks taking time off too
Thanks!
Thank you very much Andrew.
That is wisdom personified,sincerely;
"Never judge anything on your first bite."
Definitely mate
100% a brilliant mam xx
Definitely xx
Thanks for Sharing this video, Richy, Enjoyed this Beautiful Town Sites!!
Much appreciated Jack, we had a lovely day mate.
Great Memories of Whitby, the Abbey, and Robin Hoods Bay in 2003. Well you made us homesick, not easy to do. Whitby is a beacon compared to much of Britain's cities which are in utter decline and beyond hope. As for cost of living a sausage roll 80p christ here in Oz that's at least 2 quid, probably more like 2.50-3 quid and crap ta boot. COL has gone nuts USA, UK, and Australia. Great job Richy lad that's a lovely video. Wish I could have afforded to retire back home truly, thanks for that.
Thanks mate, it is a lovely town Whitby. As you said they’re far and far between these days, such a shame watching the west fall apart.
Amazing! I'm absolutely blown away by the history and beauty of that whole area!! I even had to grab my mom and show her. She was blown away😂.
Our ancestors on my mom's side of the family come from that area of England. Never been there though. Anyway, sorry to ramble on like I do. Just thank you *very* much for what you do, my friend! I felt like I was actually there🙌
Thank you very much David, we had a great day out and it’s always nice to hear that you felt the experience too 👌🏻
Love Whitby mate. Lovely fish and chips and lovely seaside town. Safe travels bud have a wonderful day. And banging weather. 😊👍🏻
Thanks Jonny, we had a class day mate💯👍🏻
Thank you Cathy and Richy for a wonderful adventure out there in Whitby. Appears to be a MAGNET for every TH-camr right now. Everyday I get swamped with Whitby Fish and Chips, and Sea Gulls
Your video is so refreshing, it is so different and showing us other interesting facts about Whitby. The ABBEY is awesome. Count Dracula was once there. Count Richy there now.
Thanks Tim we had a lovely day mate, I don’t get to watch TH-cam much so I never realised.
Haha thanks Tim, always good to hear mate
Morning, Richy!
Lovely with all the boats in the harbour. Are you looking forward to getting back to Thailand?
It's a great location with all these places near to your home city. I've only ever been to London once, so I haven't had the experience in the outer areas and cities.
Why did Cath buy all those biscuits?
I can see why they have Gothic parties there. Those gravestones look eary like that. Whitby Abbey looks amazing just standing there on the hill, so proud.
Amazing place, mate. Thank you.
Morning Greg, the UK as a whole is a beautiful place especially up North with all the mountains and seaside towns.
I’m on route back to Thailand now, it was a lovely trip home for a couple of weeks but I’m yes I am looking forward to getting back.
I’m missing Cath and Reni a lot already it’s not easy them not being with me but UK has become unliveable for me with the cost of living. The bakers we went to is only local to Whitby and Cath loves the ginger biscuits. She got some for her mother too.
Thank you, next vlog will be the travel day back to the land of smiles😎
Ee Bah Goom! Lovely.
Ha it was a really nice day, thanks.
Happy birthday Richy 🎉🙏
Thanks Darren🙏🏻💯
Hi Richy. Yeah it's a lovely place. Been very many years since I had a day out there from Nelson Lancashire. I always thought it was 199steps ! All the best mate. Safe travels
Hi Bernie, we had a lovely day mate. Yes it is 199, I don’t know where I read 195. Thanks and you too.
Took my kids to Whitby years ago! There had been floods and the river was loaded with raw sewage overflow! Never again! Enjoy your Cod.
Thank you, that’s a shame it’s a lovely place Whitby. The cod was great too.
Alleyways; all about wee and a quickie!
🤣🤣
Whitby, North Yorkshire, ENGLAND, UK. That's Better.....
That it is mate.
Hi Rich, I see the apple doesn't fall far from the tree lol Cathy loves the bakery like her dad lol I was eating that cod with my eyes looked so good I miss some of the food in the UK thanks for the day out in Whitby keep warm LOL
Steve Prince Edward Island Canada
Hi Steve, Cath’s my best friend not my daughter mate. You can’t beat a cod by the sea and Whitby is a lovely day out. I’ve been really lucky with the weather so far.
Oops sorry 😞
I never ended up in England, ' went always south into the sun 🙂
+ what I wanted to say: bring Kathy with you to Thailand
I only come back to see family and friends, it’s being nice and the weather has been good to be fair😎
Cath doesn’t like flying and hates any weather over 20 degrees unfortunately mate.
Oh - than England is probably a better place for her, whereby she may have to move further north.
@@ParkinsonRaw Getting cold here in NZ but luckily not to wet. In a couple of weeks I am off to Da Nang Yahoo
Flying Jack Russell's lol. I remember we all went to whitby years ago and your mam got fish and chips and a seagull dropped a sh.t and landed on her fish and chips your mam took the fish and chip's back to the chippy and they gave her a replacement i still laugh about it now.lovely place whitby and beautiful views looks like you both had a lovely day 😊😊
Haha that’s classic my mam isn’t it, we had a lovely day thanks June😊
Very little merchant seaman left I great Britain all the best richie
It is a shame mate, thanks and you too.
Looks like it’s gonna be a sad goodbye for you and Kathy .
Definitely mate.
You are right rincing folk but not dual pricing but another way doubling pricing shocking well done richie showing them for what they are bandits cheers richie enjoyed
Thanks mate, you do have to keep your eye on the ball wherever you are.
£15 quid that’s outrageous.. I’m like you I just walk away..
Definitely mate, ridiculous pricing.
How much , 691.14 baht wow
Very expensive mate
Why don’t you take Cathy with you to Asia Richy?
She doesn’t like flying or the heat Frank.
It's losing it's soul, hollowed out by airnbnb & long term rentals, it's really sad but that's the way it is, l do feel sorry for the young locals. 30:25
It is such a shame mate, that’s the UK as a whole now with the renting culture. The younger generation can’t afford to buy now.
Nothing close to 10 baht for rice and chicken
Maybes 40 times it mate
Kath is hot😮
Yes she is👍🏻
Where is the beautiful woman?
My friend Mustafa.
Prices are crazy
They are mate
What a depressing place
Wash your mouth out with soap
Me and the family stayed for a few days a couple of years back, thought it was great, nice place.
It all depends what you want mate, everybody is different. We had a lovely day to be honest.
Haha horses for courses, we had a great day.
