❤ We're ready to go back to Laos after 50 years abroad. Thank you for showing us around.
That’s so great to hear! Wife and I spent 18 years together in US before deciding to move to Laos last year. Laos is the best!
Came to see how you pronounce the city name lol. Kudos. The French restaurant looks awesome and very affordable. Will have to give then a try next time I'm in VTE.
Haha, yes - I'm learning! Highly recommend the restaurant.

Hello. Where are you from?
Hello! Originally from America, but now living in Vieng Chan. Thanks for watching!

Thanks! Don’t forget to share!
Just watching your channel. Great videos!
@@retire_recharge_roam Thanks so much
wow that is cool. What is the average price you spend on groceries? Do americans need a visa to visit there? How long do you think vistors should stay there if on vacation
Thanks for watching! Laos issues a 30-day visa on arrival, or you can apply for an e-visa to save some hassle. My personal opinion is you can spend ~2 days touring the capital, Vientiane, then head to Vang Vieng for a week and/or Luang Prabang for a week. I’d recommend that for a first trip to Laos. If you have more time or are ambitious, you can explore Southern Laos:
