In the old GoW games, a lot of chaos blade finishers did do that so you can feel the impect, I love that they put that in, it tickles all the good spots.

@@Aidan977 not really, you can only change the look of an armor piece if it’s level 9. New game plus allows us to look any way we want from beginning to end while keeping all our builds and stats intact.
@@BryMakesArt You still have to get your armors to be at level 9 to change appearances. Even if its ng+
@@ArmoredG yea I was gonna say I’m wearing the Lunda set and I wasn’t allowed to transmog until I got level 9 at least. Also glad they gave us appearances for some of the armor

I don’t get the logic of the people talking about the first fight and proving Kratos weak. If someone weaker then me, come prepared for fight, wake me up from sleep out of nowhere, strike me very hard when I am not prepared yet, he could easily beat me. And in this fight, Kratos was also holding back.

Not sure if it's just me, but being maxed out like that changes the general tone of the fight for me. In a normal playthrough it feels like two titans coming to blows with each other, but with how quickly Thor's health bar drains it feels like he's mad-scrambling to keep in the fight.
Definitely feels like Kratos controls the pace of the fight while maxxed out, I agree.
I just stuck with my steinbjorn armor it makes the fights feel so much better
I wonder if that changes if you play NG+ on max difficulty :)

It's kinda wierd that Zeus the most naturally durable being in this entire franchise who survived up to 6 consecutive stabs from the Blade of Olympus got turned into a glass ballista set
especially since no one but him or Kratos survived more than one hit from that blade and a hope amped Kratos a that but Kratos would have died from two hits of it
if they didn't leave the glass ballista it would be badly broken
I mean, it's a new game + armor, doesn't matter that much if it's broken

I’m pretty sure you actually can do this. Weapons appearances can be changed based on level looks in the base game when they reach max level, so in ng+ you probably still can
