Just copy your own from 8:01 first by selecting it with A and choosing 'Copy to "0:/gm9/out"'. When you're done with this guide, copy it back by going to 0:/gm9/out and pressing Y to copy it, then follow the steps at 8:01 again. If it gets corrupted and you have no backup, I believe you can delete the 00010026 folder and the 3DS will generate a new one on the next boot, but you'll need to reactivate StreetPass for all games again afterwards.

It works! I see other game titles on the spreadsheet for adding streetpass tags. How do I do this with MK7, ACNL, NSMB2, etc. I know it’s the same process, but different file number codes instead of 00010026. How would I know which game is which with each code?

Another question. Are those Miis you receive 3DS bots? (Non-existent). If they are always the same, isn't there a project where you can contribute to give your own mii? I have a modded 3DSold. It would be nice to restore streetpass exchange points (like those at McDonald's). Even if the only way I think is to give your mii as the file I think
1). Yes you can meet those Mii's infinity by simply repeating the steps at the Godmode 9 portion of this video. 2). Technically, these are look bot Mii's as they aren't legitimately acquired through meeting real persons but the system doesn't pick up on that so there's practically no difference. 3). Yes, there exists a project where you can contribute your own Mii's if you choose to. I hope this helped!

Hey ! Thank you for this incredible tutorial but I'm having a problem even though I'm following everything correctly... I download the file, put it in my sd. I launch GodMode9 and copy the file etc.. But when I re-launch the ds, then launch Mii Plaza it tells me to activate StreetPass for this game. And when I go to check in the settings I don't have any more games in the StreetPass section (System Settings -> Data Management -> Streetpass). I've tried several times but always the same result...

@@briciolaaI think I'll submit my own Azran Legacy 00000000 to the sheet, but since that game was developed by Level 5, and their other games don't seem to work with this method, your best bet is probably to StreetPass yourself with one of two methods: 1. If you have another 3DS, back up that system's 00000000, then put your own 00000000 onto your other system, then have both systems StreetPass one another; you should receive your own StreetPass from the other system. If you want to repeat this method, use Clea Rmac Filter on either system so they can StreetPass one another again. When you're done, restore your second console's 00000000. 2. If you only have one 3DS, you can use 3ds-save-tools to unpack the 00000000, then go into the OutBox folder for your game, then copy the item whose name is a bunch of symbols onto your 3DS' SD card, then use NarcoleptiK CECTool to import this message into your own 00000000. ...Yeah, needless to say, praying for you if you don't have a second 3DS.
It works but theres something i need to tell you- If i go the streetpass 2 page you mentioned at the start, then go to data, itll show all your choices for games you want to streetpass, but they all have different regions. For example, I have Streetpass Plaza game with a PAL region, but i want to download a NTSC-U region patch. Im a little worried if i use it, itll screw my console. So does the region matter on what patch you can get?
Good morning, I believe I had received this sort of question before regarding PALS and NTSC-U. I'M not an expert in this sort of field so take what I say with a grain of salt. If you're playing a game that is a PAL region, then any additional content added onto it must also be PAL regional. Same thing applies if the game is NTSC-U regional. Again, I'm not an expert in this sort of field, so I heavily recommend you consult an expert regarding this question.

Yes you can, you only have to download the desired file once and using the Godmode9 method you can use the same Streetpass Tag/file over and over again

All of the files in that spreadsheet should be safe to use; however, it's best to back yours up first by selecting your 00000000 file with A (location shown at 8:01) and choosing "Copy to 0:/gm9/out". When you're done, you can go to 0:/gm9/out, copy it it with Y, then follow the instructions at 8:01 again.
That would simply just come down to which Streetpass Tags you download from the spreadsheet shown. I would recommend one of the users name Sylveon or someone close to that as their Mii's are PACKED in Mii Plaza.
I agree, while something welcomed considering the state of both the 2ds and Streetpass itself, it would be nice if they made this into an app you can download, like with getting free play coins, the system could just automatically log the tags without having you doing it manually. Maybe one day though!

Depends what you mean by "normal". While, yes, StreetPassing with others will still work, unless you do something within a game to change your own StreetPass OutBox (what you send to others), you might send the submitter's OutBox to other people instead of your own next time you tag someone. To fix this, you can either restore a backup of your own 00000000, delete the 00010026 folder on the CTRNAND (careful not to delete the wrong one) and reboot so that your 3DS generates a new one, or manually deactivate and reactivate StreetPass for each title.
Good evening, I apologize for the late response; I had to do a little research in the compatibility of ntsc-u and pal. NTSC-U as far as I'm concerned does not seem compatible with pal files and I would not recommend trying to install pal files into NTSC-U hardware. I may be wrong, and frankly, I would recommend contacting a professional with this sort of technology, as I do not have the proper knowledge or credentials to be 100% sure.

I haven't tested this yet, but a workaround could be to use save-tool-3ds to extract the 00000000, then use NarcoplectiK CECTool to inject a StreetPass message into _your own_ 00000000.

It really depends on who is using this, because for probably a lot of people(including me) they live in areas where the 2ds/3ds is not very common, if at all. For some, the only way to get streetpasses would be to make long trips, but for so many people, unless taking a vacation is very common for you, it just isn't convenient for most if not all person's still using a 2ds/3ds. This cfw serves MAINLY to give more accessibility to the features that Streetpass offers, NOT as a complete replacement of getting them legitimately. Case in point, for some people who live in areas where they may be the only one with a 2ds/3ds system, this is really their only viable option.
I dont live in a popular area but there is still no point of getting fake streetpass and its like hacking a game for a higher level, its boring@@jakecon6969

You would always use 00010026. Never try to deviate from it, as in my experience using this CFW, it works for all games that uses Streetpass

Did you remember to calculate & fix the CMAC? If you did, you probably just used a bad file, so you'll need to download a different one.

Yes, this also applies to Tomodachi Life(I know because I also have files for Tomodachi Life lol), and really any game that uses the Streetpass feature.
You seem to be using a 3DS in this tutorial
It's actually a 2ds XL, however I'm sure the process works for both console systems!
Worked for my 3DS, and all my data was saved in the process. I even followed your video while doing it.
This works with all 3ds family systems that have godmode9 and CFW. 3ds, 3ds XL, 2ds, and “new” branded 3ds and 2ds models.

Hi, sorry for the late response, currently no there still haven't been a new implementation to do this by QR code or by download through Universal Updater, but hopefully they'll do something like that!!

It really depends on who is using this, because for probably a lot of people(including me) they live in areas where the 2ds/3ds is not very common, if at all. For some, the only way to get streetpasses would be to make long trips, but for so many people, unless taking a vacation is very common for you, it just isn't convenient for most if not all person's still using a 2ds/3ds. This cfw serves MAINLY to give more accessibility to the features that Streetpass offers, NOT as a complete replacement of getting them legitimately. Case in point, for some people who live in areas where they may be the only one with a 2ds/3ds system, this is really their only viable option.
I dont live in a popular area but there is still no point of getting fake streetpass and its like hacking a game for a higher level, its boring@@jakecon6969
bro it doesn't yk cuz there isn't a lot of people that got their DS with them all the time I live in Algeria I'd say there is like 1 in 10000 that got a 3ds so this technique is very useful for people like me but yes it does kill the fun and that's what I'd say 7 years ago
