Can you please explain how you managed to get special miis through hacks? I only received one (idk how) and i recently modded my 3ds, so now im interested
I bought a 3Ds for the first time a few months back. I had a switch since 2017. I was surprised how much personality the 3DS had compared to the switch. On Switch you cant not even theme the UI let along having things like streetpass!
thats the main thing that stops me from liking the switch as much, although the wii u and 3ds didnt sell as well as the switch, it still had so much personality and were really community driven consoles. I hope they can make a return to that.
6:54 Definitely agree on this. I miss the menu music, system apps having personality, etc., and although I respect the opinions of those who prefer the minimalist, no-gimmicks style of the Switch, the fact that there's no _option_ to make the menus more interesting ( *COUGH* near-empty theme menu) is only a bad thing imo. To make matters worse, with the unprecedented levels of success the Switch has had, Nintendo is bound to do the same thing again, à la the Wii U directly coming after the Wii. This might sound a bit cynical, but I almost hope their next console significantly unerperforms so that they're forced to put more effort into things like UI design, hardware durability ( *EVEN BIGGER COUGH* joycon drift), etc., and not get complacent like I personally feel they've done during the Switch's life-cycle.
got my 3ds when i was like 6 and oh my god im so glad i kept it, there's some kids at my school who also have a 3ds and we'll all meet up and play smash bros lol
I have two versions of Reggie from 5 years ago and 2 versions of a guy named Kyle from 9 years ago but I don’t remember what events these were given out for 😢
Okay so I found a list of many of the U.S.-released special Miis and figured out where my Kyle’s were from: The two versions of Kyle (one w/ pirate hat, one w/ no hat) were from National Streetpass Weekend 2014 The two versions of Reggie I have
one time i got a streetpass from hino, he ceo of level 5, i played yo kai wacth alot so i wonder if the miis were disributedbased on what games you played.
Streetpass was so incredible. When I got that green light on my 3DS, my heart jumped in excitement
I’ve got 5 last year and I was happy and 1 this year
Great video! Now it’s my turn to count the Miis I’ve gotten through Streetpass since getting my 3DS:
so glad someone made a video on this
It’s such a niche topic! But it something that really enhanced my experience with the console
I never got a special Mii and never knew how to get one so the only way I got one was to hack the mii

Always nice to see the Miis get some love 👍
They really need to come back!
I still remember these! I also remember when they would send letters through Nintendo letterbox and put voice on it and coin sounds it was cool
It was cool until they abruptly shut down the ability to send letters to friends because of predators :(
I remember owning a 3ds since it released. This was amazing!! I have a modded n3ds and this still rocks!
3Ds was such a peak nintendo era
so many fond memories
I feel so sad having thrown away 3+ years of the console since I entered my "Nintendo is baby games" era
I remember these. I have missed my 3DS since 2017 though. That is when it broke.
This video brought back so many fun memories, thankyou! Keep them coming :D
Making it brought back a ton!
Dopamine hits from seeing the special Mii in gold pants give you any puzzle piece you’re missing > finding a shiny Pokemon
I never had a 3ds early enough to enjoy all the miis and street pass with it 😢

Now you can make your own special mii, LIKE myself.
I wish I had a 3rd earlier, I got mine in 2017, but I still wish I got my earlier.

I heard that Nintendo would release Japanese celebrities and other notable figures so if your console was Japanese maybe that was it?
i dont remember how or why but i have the reggie mii, probably from the n3dsxl distribution
There's an official gold pants shaq mii qr code for tomodachi life.
Will the next Nintendo console have streetpass you think?
street pass was cool lol
Nah because I remember seeing Scott Moffitt thinking he was a TH-camr or something lmao not no mf EMPLOYEE
Your voice sound like someone who would ask for Wii u 2
I’m actually in favor of the 4DS
