This isn’t a mechanic video. This a video of a young man telling us his about his classes at the university of hard knocks majoring in customer service. Bravo!!
I one time saw a kitten fall of the bottom of a van while driving. I pulled over to pick up the kitten. It lived with minor injury. Kept him. He lived for 14 years.
Well I got a few good laughs out of this one! I have no idea what you get paid but i'm pretty sure it isn't enough to deal with some of this stuff, lol. Glad I found your channel, it's a good one!
I liked your channel before just for the Toyota info, but this vid seals the deal! Possums, that story was just extra credit. You did a better job than I would have, so there is always that. Sounds like for the possum lovers you had to put them on your x-mas list……you are a better man than me. The owners of that car were to blame, not you.

I will never complain about having to replace the cabin air filters in my Tundra or my wife’s Highlander ever again. The field mice seek out the warmth in the winter and will nest right on top of the filter. I couldn’t figure out why my 22 Tundra HVAC was whistling in certain modes until I found the cabin filter had been chewed through in a few places. The 3 rd gen Tundras use a stiffer filter media than my other Toyotas, so any holes will cause a whistle. They have also gotten into one of the engine air intake boxes and chewed the insulating lining in the box. The mice will create a nest under the aluminum intake manifold atop the engine of my 03 Tundra (2UZ) most winters. I have to use a flexible grabber and compressed air to get it all out or risk a fire.
Dear Sir really enjoying your channel. Could you comment on the 3 inch TRD Tundra lift offered from Toyota for the 3rd Gen? Do you think its a good product or would you recommned an aftermarket kit? Thank you
Thank you. I believe the 3 inch is perfect. We have no issues with them so far. As far as aftermarket lift kits, we have seen issues with them, such as pulling and noise concern. Im especially not a fan of the lift kits that require you to cut the frame just so you can mount the front differential. But that's just me. There are ppl out there who love them. Overall, there are no issues with the factory 3-inch lift.
@@TheYotaChannel Thank you! I am looking to purchase a tundra and hoping the engine issues are sorted out now and not in fact a design issue. Could you offer your thought as to wether the engine is now okay with the new bearing update on the 2024 model. Thank you!
Lol, I know exactly what you mean. I used to know a couple of people who drove their cars that were filled with a load of gravel, trash inside their cars with smell of hydrocarbon gas. Yet, they didn't seem be bothered with those things. There's one thing I wouldn't do is driving my car with all four windows wide open, especially, on highways. Driver's license renewal should require health inspection certificate of drivers. Also, would auto mechanics need to wear Hazmat suits at work on a regular basis, not just for Covid?
Yes, I've seen some over the years. But it was due to rust and corrosion. It has been a while. That was around the time Toyota had a customer support program out for customers who were experiencing the issue. Maybe 6-7 years ago.
It is crazy what you have to deal with in your job. I think the economy is bad and people are starting to live in there cars, very sad. I can believe the rats and critters getting in the engine area, it is crazy how some people there reaction is negative to you about the video but what can you do but remove them. Love all your content and will keep on watching. The old saying about the brake job you get what you pay for. Lol
@@TheYotaChannel Yeah unfortunately for a lot of people these days there is no common sense you have to go all the way to one side or another when in reality most people sit in the middle. Like the Possums don't get to just claim the car as their home and the owner doesn't just have to just hold that L like tuff luck. It's also not like you threw them in a meat grinder or the trash either. They'll find a new spot hopefully not in someone car to nest and if not that's survival of the fittest unfortunately. It is what it is sometimes.

you always have the option of telling the idiot advsior that wrote that car up in the condition.....i will not touch this until its safe i was a toyota tech for 5 years, after i hit hybrid expert i stopped certing because the stuff you see MDT's have to do for little money. no thanks. now i am traveling around the western US to hopefully find a shop i can work at and call home.

Please make a series 🤣. Who knew mechanics get such crazy stuff. Recall updates or troubling trends are awesome too.

Paint a red stripe on them, call them TRD possums. Profit.
Found some chipmunks camping in my engine bay one winter... Made them an offer they can't resist. They won't be coming back no more... 😊
😂😂😂 I'm afraid to hear what that offer was.
Hate it when opossum make a nest in my car. Found a rat nest on top of my gas tank of my motor home. They are hard to trap and hard to get rid of
That purple goo was caliper guide pin lube
No way!!….don’t work on those nasty cars, refuse them till they clean their act up, mental problems is no excuse to be nasty!!
😂😂😂

Have you came across any adult toys yet? I’ve ran across a few of them. I’m in collision so shit has to come out depending on what needs to be done
Lol, i have. I just make sure my gloves are on proceed to change their cabin filter and go about my business. 😂😂😂
😮 nooo😂
Wow! A family of possums. Good rescue. Did you release them or adopt them? You said both. I’m guessing you’re joking.
nope my writer tells them come back when we can get in safely

@TheYotaChannel We have to start worrying more about people than critters. I have three dogs I Love them like family. Thank you for your content
You did what you had to do to get the possum’s out, but I wouldn’t have post it on social media. Live + learn, thats life.
Yea man, ain't that the truth. I never knew possums had such a strong support team.

Charge extra for filth.
People are also stupid!
That’s filthy
People probably living in their car
Unfortunately, sometimes that is the case.

The main takeaway from all of this is that the average IQ of society is dropping at an alarming rate.
did it ever come to mind being a car tech is not for you?
It didn’t sound like he was complaining, just surprised.
Please post the weird shit you see. What type of car are you in for your videos?
