    In my opinion you're missing the most important upgrades. No hand guards, no skid plate, no off-road tires.

      I agree Where I live the off-road parks have been closed for two years there just now opening up so I’m looking into those as far as tires I’m keeping with the dual sport style for what I do I don’t need straight up nobs

    Nice bike. I got the same one but went lidless with full exhaust. Love it!

      Awesome I was tempted to go lidless

    Sprockets make the biggest difference on these 250/300. Keeping the rear tire OEM size/weight, with an aluminum sprocket and mx chain shaves 2lbs off the crank giving u back HP thats lost. The first thing anybody should do is swap to 13t front sprocket. I put an AL 48t on my 250, and kept the 14t front for back roads and put on the 13 for trails

    Nice mods....I have a 2021 KLX300.....KX250 snorkel (you should do to increase air flow), Twin Air filter (25% more air flow), FMF Q4 exhaust (has spark arrester and also less noisy than the Delkavic) and the EJK velcro mounted under the fuel tank left side panel. It keeps is safe, away from any heat, wiring is very neat, and you just remove the side panel for any adjustment you might want to do. Dyno results were 25.4 hp @8k rpm with 17 ft/lb of torque @ 7.7k rpm. This was in line with what I expected with no further mods to the engine. The stock engine dyno showed 23 hp with 15 ft/lbs of torque, so just simple air flow along with a little fuel gets you almost a 10% increase.

      yeah im gonna move my fuel controller once I get it on a dyno I just have it there so its easy to get to for now. I have a few more parts I have coming to finish up the "build" still deciding on a skid plate to get do you have any opinions

      @@BoBoBrappins I have the camo model KLX so I purchased the Ricochet anodized black. It really looks good on the bike. I like the Ricochet best because it is full coverage underneath the engine and more protection on the sides. A lot of the manufactures put holes underneath but in my opinion it lessens the protection. With a solid underneath you don't have to worry about poking a stick or rock into the underneath. I ride in a lot of forests with lots of wood on the ground.

      @@mikemathews1711 I was debating on the trex racing plate but now I am trading my bike in. I finally had an opportunity to take it off road and I decided I am gonna get the bike I wanted in the first place when I was looking last year when I bought this bike. when I picked this bike up I knew it it wasn't gonna be a bike I had long term but didn't think I would get ride of it this fast its a great bike and I plan on posting a final thoughts/review of it if I trade it in. I Really appreciate you checking out my content and giving some advice.

    For my needs I think this is the bike for me. Fast enough for small strips of 70mph freeway and 65mph freeway a lot of 45/55mph country roads and I've seen several trails in my area.

    • @BoBoBrappins
      @BoBoBrappins  ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree 100% it was a fantastic bike to me and very confident inspiring off road my only grip was I couldn’t stiffen the suspension enough with the factory adjustments

    • @ToGrimmToWin
      @ToGrimmToWin ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BoBoBrappins I'm 5'10" and 165lbs I figure the suspension should be ok

      @BoBoBrappins  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ToGrimmToWin I’m 6’1” and about 180 the suspension was fine for about 80% of the off-road riding I did but as I got better and started going faster I did noticed I would bottom out a good bit of the time but I’m talking like 40mph on trails with huge rocks and dips or big pot holes but if I was just enjoying the ride and not racing myself bike was perfect and very confident inspiring
