stiffen your rear suspension u got wobbling on high acceleration
I have the rear clicker almost maxed has like 4 clicks left I think I need to get a stiffer spring but don’t have the money rn
Welcome to this weeks episode of Horders Handlebar Addition
Haha come on it ain’t that bad is it.
nice.. i just picked up a '22 with 1600 miles. cant wait to get into it
Awesome I think you will love it
Just curious what they go for used?
@@Broken-six I’ve seen them in my area for 10-12k
@@BoBoBrappins thanks, took one out today. Editing a review vid this evening. It’s such a good bike, blew me away!!!
@@Broken-six it’s amazing my dad has the t7 and we both agree the Tuareg is far better
dont the tuaregs come with quick shifter? why are u shifting off throttle.
It’s on optional upgrade for the Quickshifter that I opted out of getting biased on some things I’ve read on the forums
@@BoBoBrappins quick shifter its a blast i tell u have the same tuareg its awsome
@@baklcdcvdfv3434r4 have you had any issues I see almost a 50/50 split of people who love it and people who hate it I would like it but idk
@@BoBoBrappins i like it a lot, it all deepens on your style of riding, for example i like acceleration and ride energetic for that reason i think its great just loading the gears makes it a lot faster in acceleration context... if u ride offroad much u dont need it if u dont usualy work the full rpm u dont need it , also it works above 4000 rpm and downshift also around 4000 rpm below that u might break it
@@baklcdcvdfv3434r4 oh I didn’t know it had rpm ranges to it makes sense though
You need to do the pair valve delete to stop the backfires,
I did delete that and instal a block off plate and intake hole plug
how much extra power and torque do you get with new air filter and ECU tuning?
I don’t know exactly and I did it in stages so I didn’t have a jump from stock to full mod but just from the flash I definitely noticed it pulled harder and seemed to have more low end grunt but it’s not a big jump I’d say feels like 5-10 more hp
What mount do you have for the BTech GMRS Pro on your bars? I've been looking for something to move it from my hydro pack to my bars before summer is in full effect.
I watched the video jakethegardensnake did on radios and his buddy in it made the mount for me with his 3d printer. you can sub to jakes patreon for like 2$ i think than dm the guy on discord and see if he will make you one but this mount should work aswell www.bulletpointmountingsolutions.com/products/handheld-radio-holder-with-20mm-ball?variant=40630810280051¤cy=USD&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwrIixBhBbEiwACEqDJSA2s-PKOKpL-eYxC2O9zrc2EEzjbvVv2Pe4G8Edf2hQOG7OAJ266RoCreUQAvD_BwE
@@BoBoBrappins I figured that is where you got the mount! Thanks for the link to another mount that you think may work. Appreciate it.
@@tateeskew of course man thanks for watching!
What is that hand guards and mirrors you have?
Hdb off-road makes them just the guards cost 200$ the mirrors are 45$ a piece but I think it’s totally worth it there beefy
@@BoBoBrappins thanks!
Why are you backing off your throttle Don't you have a quick shifter?
No I didn’t opt for the quick shifter add on and I’ve seen on the forums they have problems sometimes so I’m holding off might get it next year
@BoBoBrappins Thinking about buying the Aprilia 660 just was wondering about the reliability in your experience. Has the bike had any issues, planning to put really big miles on this bike. how many kilometers do you have on your bike? Thanks.
@@gsxrkz I haven’t had any issues with the bike it’s been perfect so far. it’s got 2500mikes on it I think that’s like 4-5 thousand kilometers. the handle bars where not center from the dealership that’s the only thing I’ve noticed but I don’t fault the bike it’s been great very happy with the t6
@@BoBoBrappins Thanks for the response. Be looking forward to some of your other videos. Ride safe.✌️
@@gsxrkz thanks for watching and commenting. Let me know if there’s anything you’d like to see a video on.
I have those Tusk bar busters on my ktm 450 exc-r , they have taken serious abuse , multiple tree smacks and countless drops including on pavement. They have stood up to it all including the integrated turn signals.
Those integrated turn signals are bad ass. I love them on my beta.
We need a drag race between the t7 and the tuareg
Yeah I wanna do one but with the weather it will be a couple weeks until than
That would be a awesome video 💯🏍️💨
i think i'm leaning towards the HP6 from dominator a little bit quieter than yours still sounds amazing but on longer rides might be a wee bit much for me great info and videos thanks ..
Yeah I was leaning towards that one too. Some days I wish I went with it but most I’m happy with this one.
Compare: stock at 30 seconds and aftermarket at 9 minutes.
Yeah this was before I had a way to edit videos
Perché ti sei messo i guanti 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I have HDB handguns on my Tuareg. Nothing is as strong!
I’m loving them so far, opted for the mirrors too cockpit feels much cleaner now.
why not get the quickshifter for it? it can do both up and down
I’ve been thinking about it but it’s 230$ the dealer has to turn it on and my dealer wants to charge 90$ minimum for anything they do. Plus I’ve been reading a lot of mixed reviews on the forums about it not working good and making neutral hard to get into. I might do it down the road.
@@BoBoBrappins gotcha, yeah it's not a necessity. seems like you've mastered the downshift pretty well, it's difficult to get it smooth compared to the upshifts, at least for me.
@@j0rss I do wish I had one sometimes when I’m off-road in rough stuff tho. But for downshifting a decent way to learn is just rest your foot on the shifter like it’s a peg and blip the throttle it will slide right in. Than you can work on doing it the right way that’s how I learned on my old dr350. It’s not the best way to do it but it teaches you quick.
this bike is sweet! getting the new one in 2 weeks, can't wait! might wanna to the same upgrades as you, thx for the ideas
That’s awesome I think you will love the bike it’s been my favorite bike to own. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment I appreciate it.
@@BoBoBrappinsno thank you for making the vids and sharing the journey! ride a 09 Tuono at the moment but everyone is goin offroad and gotta catch up lmao. This bike seems the best do-it-all with epic offroad capability, hope it will.be reliable. Dakar podium Tuareg, here we go!!
@@j0rss I think it’s the best do all bike out there right now. I’m excited to see what company’s are gonna do next to top it and help make this adv category even better
What top box mount do you have?
It’s the T. rex racing rear rack and topbox add on I believe it’s a givi brand box 26L.
Thank you 👍
The idle sounds awesome 🙌
Thank you!
The exhaust sounds pretty good, it seems to drown out the Airbox sound about equally 👍
It’s not nearly as bad as the mic makes it sound but it does have a little drone to it.
Hey bud, just warched a couple of your videos. Regarding the evap block off, is there a decent weight loss taking all that crap off? And where did you hear about this exhaust valve system? I've never read about that, but sounds like something worth removing.
It’s not a lot of weight loss maybe a couple pounds. The exhaust valve was the biggest weight los probably 3 pounds I haven’t weighed anything so it’s all speculation. The exhaust valves are right above the header and I only learned about them when I was doing research of people tuning the tuono 660. It seemed to be a common thing to delete along with the evap.
Thanks for taking the time to watch my videos. If there’s anything you want a video made on or my 2cents on let me know.
@BoBoBrappins of course! You've got some really good info, and your bike sounds sick! Haha. I'm trying to make my Tuareg an off road weapon, so I can't go with that airbox mod. But I want to shave weight any way possible.
@@americandirtrider7662 you could do that air box mod and get the uni foam filter. It would be the same as a dirt bike might just have to clean it a little more often. That’s what I wanted to go with but none made a foam filter when I ordered my filter 8 months back.
@@BoBoBrappins That's actually the filter I have now, but I still keep the top cover on it to play it safe. And I grease the edge of the filter like on my dirt bike. By the way, nice 2019 Beta. I have a couple Betas, myself. They make fantastic bikes, and the 2024 Race Editions are the best yet!
Sourds great ! Thanks for the video
Thanks for watching! Let me know if you wanna see anything else.
@@BoBoBrappins thank you !
Stage 3 sound video is out go check it out the bike sounds sweet!
You need to grease up the seal on the DNA filter as dust can get past the seal if left ungreased - also you need to get the Funnel Web pre-filter as it is so much better and your main will stay perfectly clean and probably wont ever have to remove it
thanks for the tips ill have to pull it apart and grease it before my next ride.
waiting for an on board video with those mods
I just got a mic that can manage the noise I’m hoping to film later today hopefully have a video out Monday or Tuesday
@@BoBoBrappins awesome, thank you
@@Gol12Kin if I remember I’ll comment back on this when it’s posted
just uploaded the on board sound video hope you enjoy it.
@@BoBoBrappins i did, thank you. Will rewatch for sure
Also which crash bars are those, thanks
outback motortek 660 for the bars and skid plate i really like them so far.
I'm looking to fit a dominator full exhaust and gabro upmap. Did you try the upmap before the air filter mod? Seeing if that would be worth it
it definitely would be worth it there is still a power increase. the way gabro adjust things the throttle is super smooth now coming off idle. I would 100% do it even if you don't do the air filter kit. if your planning on going offroad still you need a spark arrestor if you are getting a full system. I got one from fisch moto that screws into the pipe I screwed mine into the db killer so I can easily swap between street and dirt.
I think the two hosed are need on the gas cap, one is the breather and one is the cap drain so rain water, dosent pool and spill in tank when cap is removed
Yeah I did some more looking the one on the left of the bike is a rain/gas for if you overfill the tank to the point it comes out the top. The one on the right is connected inside the tank as a vent tube. I’m only having one on the left because I don’t ever overfill my tank and 99% of the pumps I use have a auto cut off.
If your interested in anything let me know. I can make a video going over something or the reasons I did something.
Sounds good but I can't imagine living with that drone on longer highway stints. Even with earplugs that sounds loud.
Yeah the drone is really bad at 70 but keeping the bike under 5k is doable but not pleasant
Amy updates about the filter and tune? Noticed any power increase?
No updates yet money got tight so I haven’t been able to afford going to the Dyno I’m hopping in the next month or 2 I’ll be able to go and make a video on it
No worries mate! I understand! I just bought the bike and my account needs some room to breath before any mods! 😂@@BoBoBrappins
@@Dar7635 that’s awesome man hope it treats you well I would say get the hdb handgaurds for it first or the Outback motor tech crash bar and skit plate set I wish I got that stuff back when i had the money
Thanks man! I'm thinking about the gpmucci skid plate but I'll have to check if it's compatible with the crash bars I'll choose! Don't worry, money comes and goes!@@BoBoBrappins
More power?
Maybe a little bit from what I’ve seen and hope is you won’t notice until you get the bike tuned so I got a stage 2 air box kit Forma dna air filters and a block off plate for the emissions stuff I think after that and a dyno I will notice a good difference
I can't figure out how to put that clip back on to save my life. It flew off when i was taking it off so i dont even know how it came off
I don’t remember how it went I do remember it was like the hardest part of the whole swap but I know it’s a very common clip design you should be able to look up how a clip headlight works and figure it out better
Nice! Did you replace The intake too? Remapped?
Intake is still stock though I have a stage 2 kit from dna waiting in my garage just need to decide if I want to go upmap, dynojet or get a custom dyno tune from the dealer
Sounds great! What windshield extender are you using?
@@Crashlewis1 thanks! I ordered it from Amazon I can’t find it in my ordered list but it was cheap like 30$ at the most I just made sure the brackets where the same length as the top portion of the windshield I noticed most where not I believe 7-8 inches

I’m envious you made it out to those longer rides. It would have taken us till dinner time on our TW 200’s to get a hamburger in fields.
Haha yeah it took longer than normal for me my buddy was only on a wr250 but I enjoyed slowing down from my normal pace and enjoying the beautiful views you should definitely do it if you go again was worth the long ride out there especially for the milkshakes
Did the same route on the Thursday. What an awesome ride. The only difference is you’re just floating over ruts and bumps that I nearly had yard sales on with my KLR 😂
Haha yeah I was impressed with my bike definitely got more respect for it this trip it took everything I threw at it without flinching my buddy on the wr250 was having a rough time lol
Dude, we should have ridden together. We did the exact same rides at least the first two days.
We should of we where camped right next to each other as well haha
We did that loop the first day as well. So fun!
That smooth dirt road section was a blast man I can’t wait for next year
Where did you get the gas can
I think I got it on Amazon but the brand is rotopax they make a list of different sizes and mounts
@@BoBoBrappins yes I seen them but not sure what one fits on the back rack for a klx300sm
@@davemacintosh1733 I got the 1 gallon with the standard mount I believe I bought it in a bundle with me rear rack do you already have a rack?
@@BoBoBrappins I have no rack and all I see they are separate
@@davemacintosh1733 if you have no rack you would probably have to drill into the rear fender I’ll put a link to the rack I had and you can add the gas can and mount to the order for 100$ I’m not sure how you would mount it without a rack unfortunately
Skid Plate??
never ended up getting one traded the bike in shortly after this video for a beta 500 but i think t rex racing makes one for it now
For my needs I think this is the bike for me. Fast enough for small strips of 70mph freeway and 65mph freeway a lot of 45/55mph country roads and I've seen several trails in my area.
I agree 100% it was a fantastic bike to me and very confident inspiring off road my only grip was I couldn’t stiffen the suspension enough with the factory adjustments
@@BoBoBrappins I'm 5'10" and 165lbs I figure the suspension should be ok
@@ToGrimmToWin I’m 6’1” and about 180 the suspension was fine for about 80% of the off-road riding I did but as I got better and started going faster I did noticed I would bottom out a good bit of the time but I’m talking like 40mph on trails with huge rocks and dips or big pot holes but if I was just enjoying the ride and not racing myself bike was perfect and very confident inspiring
I might be missing something, but a lot of it felt like sitting in traffic...
It might look like it but when your riding it doesn’t feel that bad at all
Get the KDX200 Snorkel for the airbox
There isn't any need of use an adapter or something?
nope it was a simple plug and play bulb sorry for the late response had some account issues pop up
Sprockets make the biggest difference on these 250/300. Keeping the rear tire OEM size/weight, with an aluminum sprocket and mx chain shaves 2lbs off the crank giving u back HP thats lost. The first thing anybody should do is swap to 13t front sprocket. I put an AL 48t on my 250, and kept the 14t front for back roads and put on the 13 for trails
Thanks for the video .I bought the same bulb you used mainly to free up some watts so I can run a E vest. I try not to ride this bike at night but being brighter will be nice.
Thanks for watching! What E vest did u go with?
U should of took out the two bottom screws whole light comes off then makes it way easier lol
That would of been good to know lol. Thanks for watching!
Looks fun!
