✅Ingredients
FAJITA SEASONING MIX:
• 2 teaspoons ground cumin
• 2 teaspoons chili powder
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
STEAK FAJITAS:
• 3 large bell peppers sliced (multiple colors preferred)
• 1 medium red onion, sliced
• 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1½ pounds flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1/4 cup lime juice (about 2 limes)
• 10 small flour tortillas, for serving

1️⃣ 00:00:10 - In a small bowl, stir together cumin, chili powder, onion powder, salt, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
2️⃣ 00:00:53 - Heat a large skillet over high heat. Add in 2 tablespoons of olive oil, let heat for a minute, and then add in your sliced bell peppers, onion, and mushrooms. Saute until the vegetables are tender crisp (7-10 minutes).
3️⃣ 00:01:39 - During the last two minutes of cooking add in half of your seasoning mix and the minced garlic. Cook an additional 1 to 2 minutes. Remove the vegetables from the pan and transfer to a serving dish, but keep the skillet hot.
4️⃣ 00:02:03 - Return the skillet to high heat. Add the thinly sliced flank steak to the hot skillet and sprinkle in the remainder of the seasoning mixture, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook the steak, tossing constantly, until the meat is browned about 2 to 3 minutes for medium rare. Flank steak is best eaten medium rare. For well done, add an additional 3 to 4 minutes.

6️⃣ 00:02:46 - Serve on a warm tortilla. Serve plain or top with sour cream, cilantro, guacamole, or salsa.

Rachel, this was a very tasty recipe, thank you! I used New York cut sirloin, it didn't seem tender when I cut it up prior to cooking, however afterwards it was quite tender. I also found I was out of chilli powder, so I subbed paprika - worked out fine as the chilli flakes supplied the heat. We are gluten free, so used wedges of pan fried corn tortilla sandwiched with mexican cheese blend and served it with mexican rice. I think the lime juice is a very important ingredient.
That tortilla looks fake! Everything else looked good just missing cheese 😃🇺🇸
This recipe was great, 10/10, however, please, for the love of all that is holy and unholy, get wooden or silicone utensils for use with cast iron cookware >< Also non-stick cookware. Unless you're cooking in stainless steel, using metal utensils damages the pans. With cast iron, its scraping off the layers of polymerized oil that make it non-stick, and if it gets too scratched you need to re-season the pan in a 4 hour ordeal that might include sanding the pan down. With non-stick pans, you're SCRAPING OFF TOXIC MATERIALS INTO YOUR FOOD!
I work closely with the manufactures of the cookware I use. Metal utensils can absolutely be used on cast iron without damaging the pan. It's a common myth so they can talk your ear off about how it's not true. And bonus, most of the new nonstick cookware can handle metal utensils too!

Im still gonna just throw this albertsons bundle of ingredients and just thoroughly cook the meat while slightly burning the peppers but thats alright.
