I'm gonna disagree and say Knick/Bulls were a step above the Heat/Knick playoff battles. Both had their moments but the Knick/Bulls featured the element of surprise when you had Starks, Mason, Oakley all battling against Jordan and Pippen.
George Shinn is greedy and selfish and this makes him the most hated person in Charlotte. Man I hate that guy. On the bright side, he's no longer part of the NBA anymore. Fun Factoid: George Shinn has never returned to Charlotte since he relocate the original Hornets to New Orleans.
Man, Mourning was never gonna stay. He didn't even want to play here to begin with. He didn't sign his rookie contract until a day or two before the regular season began, meaning he didn't even play a pre-season game. Yeah I thought that team and the Orlando Magic would be the top teams contending for championship as soon as Jordan retired. Didn't happen except for Jordan's retirement.
That '92-93 team really leveled up with an exciting brand of ball built on the latest 3 first round picks. Special. But those young egos messed it up. At least they were able to turn those guys into other good players and have winning seasons.
