    I have been a fan and two of my all time college favorites since 1989 in LJ and Zo so glad Larry confirmed the peace. Two of the best in early 90s especially college. Circa Playboy All American Team

    Larry was the best PF in his prime. His ability, excitement, and explosiveness he brought to the game were amazing

      I would not call him the best but a very good one. And the guy had heart. That 1999 run with the Knicks was amazing

    When he injured his back he lost his explosiveness. Never the same after that but still played well in the league.

      Exactly he relied on his physique and explosiveness cuz he was built to do so, and after the back he had to rely more on his jumper and he wasn’t a great jump shooter. These guys like Rose, Ja, etc etc who rely on their speed and athleticism always suffer the most from injuries unfortunately but they are also the best to watch

    To me, LJ is a Hornet. He was barely the player he was in NY, but in Charlotte, he was explosive and one of the most exciting players in the league.

    From what I understood There was beef between the 2 out of who the top dog was and contract jealous was the main catalyst. Injuries and people got traded. I think it was an ego battle. It happens. If only Charlotte could have had a 1, 2 punch like Jordan and Pippen with these 2. They were beasts.

    Lillard comes to NOLA....even without Zion... we'd finish top five to eight in the west annually....nooow , WITH Zion, even off the bench....we compete for the Billy O for the next few yrs . His demeanor and unyielding determination fits New Orleans
