Brilliant!!! The horses 🐴 were a great addition 🤣🤣. Thank you Jess! Your Virtual Scratch Orchestras made 2020 more bearable for N-A & many others ❤🎷🥁🎵🎻🎶🎺🎸
Wow this is fantastic Jess! So pleased to be a tiny bauble on the piano - the whole sound of everyone together is amazing! Thank you so much for organising this - I hope there will be many more scratch orchestra projects! :-)
Thanks for this magical production. I hadn't been tempted to do a virtual thing until this one. So glad I did. Well done for producing such a heart-warming and humorous version. I love it!
Festive, heartwarming, a totally awesome project! Absolutely loved the video, huge thank you and well done to Jess and the team! Wishing you a very happy Christmas and a wonderful 2021! 🎄
This is so amazing Jess! I had planned on submitting my video, but unfortunately, only discovered your project a day before it was due & had 4 other recordings to do that week. Hopefully, next time ;-P x Will share this on our page & would love to include this with my upcoming event 4 @MakeMusicDay's Winter Window Serenades
Well done all! Some great energy here! Credit to the Harp parts as well, not heard on the provided backing track the sweeps do add to the Christmas swoosh! I'm amongst the masses at 2.34 in the red waistcoat. Nice touch during the credits to hear a bit of it again and if you listen carefully during this you will hear the melody from me on the Xylophone. Full credit to the producer for including the list of all the players, something which is not done anywhere near enough. Lets hope that this energy will inspire the Arts to come back bigger and better than ever. It will happen in time. For what it's worth (that's my way of saying if anyone is interested) - I am on the Xylophone, Vibraphone, Glockenspiel (Glock part during "We wish you a Merry Christmas" vocal section) - and a couple of toys also thrown in as well. Not many folks arrange for the way I perform, so I arranged my own part, and as as a result I must say a special thank you for putting it in, because of course there is always a chance that it wouldn't fit with everybody else. The Glock I am using during aforementioned vocal section formally belonged to the Astronomer, record breaking Broadcaster (BBC 'The Sky at Night') and Unknown to many - composer - Sir Patrick Moore CBE FRS FRAS, whose over 100 pieces of Music + Comic Opera's I am slowly restoring. Stay safe everyone, stay healthy and have a peaceful festive season. C (Have I Got Tunes For You).
It's great to be a small part of all this Jess (I've never played with 21 oboes before haha!) - thanks so much to you and to everyone for making it happen. It's an excellent production! Happy Christmas everyone! x
