How about a video on which companies provide the best customer service.
Ie , responds in a reasonable time frame to maybe order status, accurate tracking numbers , when the product is damaged or the wrong item is shipped.......
I believe that we as customers are often shortchanged when there are even some basic inquiries.

Just purchased an item that you recommended.
Won't name the company.
The price was in a different currency, I inquired as to what this item cost in US dollars and got a very prompt reply.
Then placed order, the order confirmation came quickly.
Shipping was stated at 4-7 days .
A week goes by no further information.
3 email requests over the next two days go unanswered.
4th as well.
Will now call the credit card company to cancel this order.
No excuse for this poor service and with all of the great options out there there is no need to do business with a company that once they get the cash they forget who you are

Anything more and I buy from well-established companies which is still not a guarantee of service. I buy most of my gear from a reputable headgear dealer. He always tells me that if something goes wrong don't call the company but tell me and I'll deal with them! That's is service.
Price to performance is now even more evident than ever.🧐
Good IEM’s and decent sources along with smartphone app for your choice of music services ( Amazon hd for me 😊) and your set to enjoy music at a level that several years ago you couldn’t dream of.

I don't think this is the right way to look at it, totl iems/headphones are specific devices for specific people, who value small improvements over something that's already very good as worth a lot of money. The totl stuff isn't meant to be the best option for everybody, so it's much more correct to say that "this 55$ combo can be the totl of three quarters of people"
I got the Mele a week or so ago and can honestly say it's the first IEM that I've been able to thoroughly enjoy without EQ. Love that! So, this HBB Maka tease has me VERY intrigued. Keep it up!

I bought this a month ago. It takes the music to another refined level. So, paired with several sub-$50 IEMs you now have audio quality that, even last year, you would have had to pay $500 or more.
How are all of these hi-end audio companies going to compete with that without upending their businesses?

I came here from today's L&P W4 DAC video. I really liked it and I think you did a great job presenting it; but, it's kind of expensive, so I'm going through your back catalog looking for a more budget friendly DAC option that merits a recommendation. You made this 7Hz 71 sound like a pretty solid option, especially for the price.
Imagine using the Salnotes Zero + this dongle. What a budget combo.

How often do you bring the Mest OG out having the MKII and Indigo in your lineup , There was HUGE! hype with them but quickly neglected because the MKII came out so quickly afterwards.
I enjoy them a few times a month. The OG MEST did not fit me in universal form but the CIEM are quite nice.
Good enough for Sennheiser HD58X? People used to pair cheaper stuff like the jcally jm20 with the HD58X so struggling to understand how this wouldnt work? Im looking for something cheap to run my HD58X through

Bro, make a list of all the best earphones you have tested so far, irrespective of prices. Coz i have been saving up and i have 1100$ saved, and i am planning on buying atleast 5-6 earphones, some to use while travelling for work everyday, and some to use when i just want to sit at home and listen to good music at a quality level.

There has been a few dac and dac/amp release recently but no one really talks about how much, or little difference is to be made from a cheap dac to expensive dac, and same with amps. I have an ifi zen dac v2 that I run all my audio gear through at home and I always wonder how much, or not that I am missing out on. I know some dacs or amps can slightly change the sound but to how much and does a dac or amp do this significantly more than another. Do you just buy a moonriver or similar and be done with it for at home and also portable or would an upgraded stack be a whole lot better at home, for example.
I have a few headphones and IEM's but I haven't dipped my toes in to experimenting with the dac and amp side. I haven't seen a whole heap of videos discussing a whole heap about this side, and more just some reviews of products. I know your channel may not be entirely based around this but I also appreciate your take on music being more about musicality and if there is certain things that can heighten the musical enjoyment, or not, I'd like to know more.

It's more complex as you have interactions with each iem & some fit others don't. I have many cheap dongles and they really do differ. Search dongle madness thread that dude went all in.
i also wonder this, some pepole say that what the audiophiles claims that a dac makes the sound better and clearer is just snake oil, it just gives more volume thats it

This dongle was poor in my estimation. Cheaper simpler dongles sound better and more pleasing. Maybe I got a bad one but separation and location was poor and sound wasn't agreeable though bass ok. I compared to my faves and sent it back. It wasn't even $10 dongle good. It didn't sound right with qkz xhbb or salnotes zero. Maybe it's better with planars?

Based on the AK4377 dongles AndyEF reviewed, I'd say it doesn't support mics.
Can I use it with other earphones instead of IEMs? Would gaming headset works too?

It just makes it different. I have a v30 and uapp running. Sound is good but some dongles will sound better some worse. This 7hz one I think only has 70mw of power. Your phone is running a better amp dac than this imo

Great review as always! Might get one when money is more comfortable! Funnily enough I had these on my wishlist since I saw them for sale. The 7Hz branding feels like a sign of something interesting with their releases lately!
At $35 though, it's not too far off from Venture Electronic's Megatron at $50. This one was designed more for harder to drive stuff though, so some sensitive IEMs might need an impedance adapter! Venture Electronics also released a closed-back headphone recently in the SuperNova. I've heard great things about it so far, and the best part is that it too is only $50! Would love to hear your thoughts on them, cheers!

Should I get the 71 or a hiby fc1? for a moondrop aria, will they just perform the same? Because i've broken 3 apple dongles already and the detachable cable of the fc1 I think would be better for me
Thought about this when choosing a DAC for my phone. I needed one with an independent volume control and a detachable cable in case it ever broke. Went with the FC3 because of its ES9281pro over the FC1's ES9270, not to mention the better case materials. The slightly higher cost was worth it, I think.
Despite reading AndyEF's review beforehand, my experience doesn't match his. The FC3 I got had a warm tuning while Andy's was cold, perhaps sterile. Might be the difference between the 2021 and 2022 revisions though.
@@shanebundy2855 I ended up buying the fc1 and I am disapointed, It keeps disconecting and has bad contact on the 3.5 port. I don't know what else to do, if the problem is my cable, the DAC, my phone or what. I am trying to get a refund, and now I have to. think about what I am gonna do, If I should buy another cable, or the 7hz salnotes wich is basically the price of a cable itself, or if I should buy another dongle, or a cable with a USB-C end.

@@meskisable No he's right. These iems sound phenomenal and they use almost no power. A fiio btr5 or 7 and your choice of iem and you're set.
