Unfortunately, Braviary is worse than its pre-evolution Rufflet in Pokemon Conquest solely because of bad move syndrome. While Rufflet has the standard Wing Attack, Braviary only has Sky Drop, which takes 2 turns to execute, and it also doesn't affect other flying types. Hilariously, Rufflet can have Celebrate as its third ability, which lets it move again after defeating a foe, so in the time it takes for Braviary to use Sky Drop, Rufflet can act up to four times.
Y'know, it's a tragic comedy when you think about Hisuian Braviary to Unovan Braviary: Braviary was once so intelligent it had psychic powers and could unleash them through its Esper Wings! Once it went to Unova though? It lost enough IQ points that it couldn't remain a Psychic-Type anymore... Now it just concusses itself with Brave Bird and deters Intimidate/Defog with Defiant...😔

Hisuian Braviary had me worried about its strength because of how much higher Unovan Braviary's attack stat is, but they gave it two great abilities to offset the lower offensive stat through near unstoppable coverage or just instantly smacking everything it looks at
Fun fact: The iconic screech associated with the Bald Eagle is actually a sound from hawks. Bald Eagles in real life don't sound like that. Edit: The screech belonged to the red-tailed hawk.
the most badass set of any pokemon I've ever seen was the sheer force mixed attacking braviary some guy hit me with in low ladder. I was so baffled when it completely destroyed my team with full odds hurricanes and heat waves.
I ran Braviary on my early gen 8 vgc teams and it was so friggin good. Having a bulky tailwind setter that wouldn't instantly die and kept intimidators out made for an amazing partner to physical attackers. I personally liked it with Grimsnarl for screens. Made my mons basically impossible to KO and allowed Braviary more space with Close Combat.
I missed out on Braviary when I first got into pokemon with black in 2010. I didn't even get a friend to help me get it. After a long break starting in 2014, I came back in gen 8 and I have loved Braviary ever since, it's my favourite flying type. not complaining just surprised
Perhaps the next theorem video could be why move sets (like mix attacking, fast physical, bulky special, etc) are close to everything or the Dragonite theorem
Hisuian Braviary had me worried about its strength because of how much higher Unovan Braviary's attack stat is, but they gave it two great abilities to offset the lower offensive stat through near unstoppable coverage or just instantly smacking everything it looks at
Love the always sunny philly reference. Hilarious
Could y'all start talking about zu in gen 9? It is a tier within the lists so?
Didn’t return/frustration got deleted from pokemon ss? It is written in gen8’s moves
I really wish Braviary was Flying/Fighting rather than Flying/Normal.
+2 Atk with Choice Band is equal in power to +4 Atk
I ran Braviary on my early gen 8 vgc teams and it was so friggin good. Having a bulky tailwind setter that wouldn't instantly die and kept intimidators out made for an amazing partner to physical attackers. I personally liked it with Grimsnarl for screens. Made my mons basically impossible to KO and allowed Braviary more space with Close Combat.
Took a second to get why it was this specific date, but it’s a very good bit
Loved Braviary as my main Dynamax Pokemon. My first egg shiny and my first arceus shiny. My #3 favorite Pokemon
I missed out on Braviary when I first got into pokemon with black in 2010. I didn't even get a friend to help me get it. After a long break starting in 2014, I came back in gen 8 and I have loved Braviary ever since, it's my favourite flying type. While I do prefer the original form, Hisuian Braviary is also awesome especially with it's unique move and phenomenal shiny.
Shoutouts to Hustle Rufflet actually hitting harder than Braviary. Oops.
Script was on point for this one!😂😂
