I saw Summer Dean open for an asleep at the wheel concert at the nutty brown about a month ago and she sung this song. She mentioned her and colter were working on it and I thought that was so cool because I love colter and I loved the song when she sung it. Now I see that she released it and I’m happy cuz she’s realy talented and now I can listen to it more. Congrats y’all

I got to see Summer last night opening for Reckless Kelly and she was amazing. The woman can SANG. Every bit as good with a joke or a gospel song as she is with a barroom weeper in 3/4 time.
Saw Summer last night and she was great, I just wanted Dwight Yoakam to step out of the curtain andjoin her in a duet. Wonderful show, great performer and a appears to be a hard working lovely artist. Would reccomend that you go to her show if she comes in your town you will get your moneys worth and then some. We saw her in the Spanish Ballroom in Tacoma, Wa. Love this song by the way, got to go find me a barstool to sit on while I listen to it. Thanks Summer for sharing a part of your soul, the muse was with you.
almost a year old song with not even 36k views and people listen to garbage morgan wallen or thomas rhett by the millions. Sad day for real country music.
No one seems to talk about it, but I don’t think how he used to sing was very sustainable. I reckon he’s in for the long haul and part of that is being able to sing without destroying your voice in the process. Allow artists the room to grow. If you like the way he used to sing, wear out his old LPs - there’s no shame in doing so!
Man you don’t get it. What he’s doing now is way more true to the genre. That growl would kill his voice too. The way he sings now is western. And that’s what he is. A country And western songwriter and singer.
