Who remembers the missing kids on milk cartons and posters everywhere back then? It’s crazy that it was a complicated but yet still a more simple time than it is today. This movie brings back many scary and fond memories tho. Appreciate y’all for checking this one out
I’m with you! I was about 10yrs when this came out & I might be tripping, but I belief the lady that found her son at Max’s video store, was also the mother of a lost child on a tv commercial during that time.🤔
@@Tom-Mac1975 Yeah man. There was far too many. One of the hardest and most hurtful things about those times is we never got to know any information on what happened to any of them from what I can remember growing up during that time

@ Until later on, I didn’t even know there was so many lyrics to the song..but I do remember recording what I could from the song on our VHS before that and trying to write it down lol. Man I miss them days
AGREED.I really LOVED the Frog-Brothers too. They were total bad&&&&& !!! LOL. GOOD and entertaining film, never get tired of watching it. And RIP: Corey Haim
I'm always fascinated how well a movie works without the marketing. The poster for this movie was iconic because it looked like a hip album cover, but then the tag line peaked your interest. "Sleep all day. Party all night. Never grow old. Never die. It's fun to be a vampire." Everybody who bought a ticket at that time knew it was an '80s take on vampires, so it was cool that you had zero idea what was going on. Lots of fun! Also, Cry Little Sister is an awesome song. The whole "Lost Boys" soundtrack ROCKS! Such a classic movie.
Grew up in Santa Cruz. My moms used to take my brothers and me to the beach and boardwalk everyday after school and in the summer especially. We would take our neighbors as well. Water baby from the get. had a lucky and grateful childhood. Best times. Itnwas early 80s. Clint Eastwoods Sudden Impact was filmed there as well.

Dianne Wiest played the mother. She is an established actress who starred in "Footloose" and "Practical Magic" with Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman (recommended watching for Halloween next year). Great reaction you guys! Happy Halloween!!
Fun Fact: I was OBSESSED with this movie in junior high because of my unrelenting love for Corey Haim. We went to the beach on vacation one summer, and there was NO TV 😂😂 me and the other teens sat around one night, and I reenacted this entire movie line by line, character by character. ❤❤ Still one of my favorites. RIP Corey Haim 😢
Fun Fact: Jason Patric (Michael) is the son of Jason Miller, who played Damian Karris in The Exorcist. Two legends of horror who didn’t go on to do much horror afterward.
Miller reprised his role in Exorcist 3, but was more of a stage actor and playwright. J. Patrick also preferred stage acting but was in Sleepers in 96(?) And did more TV work after. Both still legends.👍
Definitely a classic. Edgar Frog was Corey Feldman, and Sam was Corey Haim. They were known as "the two Coreys" back in the day, and were in a ton of movies. If you want more vampires, check out Underworld (and the sequels, and one prequel). It has werewolves too... and no, it is definitely _not_ Twilight. It also has Kate Beckinsale, so... BJ can get a little revenge over the Asia and Thor thing. 😂
This movie changed everything. Style, stars, music, soundtracks, camera work, clothing, style....from my teens until my late twenties i walked talked dressed acted, this style! Corey Haim never got over his Hollywood abuse and offed himself. The other Corey here, has gone on to tell horror stories sbout the abuse. Both he and Kiefer Sutherland, blonde guy, were both in Stand By Me, just before they got these roles.

One of the greatest losses of the 90s was the end of the saxophone solo in rock songs. We all decided we were too cool to rock out to a saxophone solo, and it's a damn shame.
Which always makes me laugh, that’s only the Disney version. The real Peter Pan killed the lost boys before they grew up and the survivors are the pirates
This was filmed in my hometown of Santa Cruz, California. That sign on the back of the billboard was accurate. I had a friend's mother murdered as well as other creepy events when I lived there. The city council had them change the name changed from Santa Cruz to Santa Carla because of that reason
Keifer Sutherland is the son of the late great Donald Sutherland. Keifer has been in: A time to kill; The Lost Boys; Stand by Me; Freeway; An Eye for an Eye and the TV show 24. The one you said looked like Charlie Sheen (😦 Sheen allegedly assaulted both Corey's) name is Corey Feldman. He was in the Goonies, Stand by Me, The Lost Boys and also became a close friend of Michael Jackson. Corey Haim who played Sam was in this movie, Lucas, Dream a Little Dream and License to Drive. Sadly he died in the late 2000's from an overdose. Forgive me if I'm wrong on some of this. This is all off the top of my head.❤
One of the best movies ever. RIP Corey Haim and Corey Feldman is awesome. John Carpenter's Vampires is a great movie you should watch and Queen of the Damned the next movie after Interview With A Vampire.
Kiefer Sutherland (David) is the son of Donald Sutherland - President Snow from the Hunger Games. And a bunch of other movies also, but well known for that movie recently. Also Kiefer Sutherland and Cory Feldman were in stand by me together.

The title of The Lost Boys is a reference to the stories of Peter Pan, and how Peter Pan and the Lost Boys would stay young forever.
That and they've lost their souls.
The literal missing children 🥸🤥
...also Peter Pan and the Lost Boys could fly
Faces come out of the rain, when you're strange!
It was originally supposed to be about kids, but they changed it to a teenage love drama... haha! But I actually loved that they changed it!
One of my favorite vampire movies. Nanook rules.
@mwooldridge9155 YES! Nanook truly is the BESTEST boy and a real hero of the movie!
Kiefer Sutherland was Ace in Stand By Me. The one that sounds like Rambo is Cory Feldman who was Teddy in Stand By Me.
They should react to Stand By Me
@NikkieTwix , definitely. It's a great movie.
I swear, did Corey F just hit puberty in the middle of filming this?
