I would add a tip #7: don't be afraid to experiment! This is a computer file, just make sure to save often. I find the best way to learn anything is to poke and prod all the options to see what they do.

Use [ Preferences/General/Design/Auto hide sketch on feature creation (unchecked) ] to have Sketches persist when you first create a feature from them.

Pertaining to Tip #6 don't forget about "Named Views". If you ever lose your model in 3D space and chances are at some point you will you can simply click on one of the Named Views to bring it back to it's default camera location. You can also create your own Named View, which is handy if there is a particular angle or area of focus you wish to return to repeatedly. For example you can set specific objects, sketches on or off and place the camera how you like and then create the Named View. Click it and it will return to it. Click a different named view and it will revert to that Named Views settings. You will never lose your model again.
Default Named Views are as follows: Top, Front, Right and Home where Home is the default view that F360 uses every time you open a model.
Edit: Oh, Named Views are located on the model tree between "Document Settings" and "Origin". You'll see it. Just click the triangle to expand the tree. To create a new Named View simply right click on "Named Views", but first make sure you have the model and all objects you want visible or invisible and the camera set where you want it before you create the new View. Give it a try and like if you you found this useful.

@Don Gray Then they must have changed it a couple of releases ago. Used to be Y-up in the beginning. Good thing they changed it by default now, should have been like this form the get-go.

The last one is interesting... As shift middle click is how I've always rotated around objects. Had no clue it "defaults" to the center of the object and I've been moving that center point every time. Probably because there wasn't ever a mouse hot key for the default camera rotation, so when trying the different modifier keys, shift middle click caused stuff to move and just went with it Lmao. Yay for doing something that way since 2015!

All tips and help is appreciated

Nice guide, liked it. But the text from surface is easier to do with extrude "From Object" instead of start from Profile Plane, that way you don't have to create multiple objects.

Good tips, the intersection one is going to be very helpful. One question, hope this gets seen, I'm using a laptop and its trackpad. Due to a disability I find using a mouse uncomfortable, awkward and occasionally painful. And you tips for things like middle clicking and such? Hate not being able to use a mouse, started in computers before there were mice, loved my first one on an Amiga 500.

Before Razer bought the Nostromo brand they were produced by Belkin, e.g.: the Nostromo Speedpad N52. I used one of these for a few years. These and their successors are programmable USB keypads that can be made to emulate mouse clicks as well. Have you tried something like this?
