I think the Brass goes so well with the green leather and the Burgandy paint. An awesome touch to the amazing Midnight Special. Great job Karl.
Masterfully done Karl! The brass definately adds class! Thanks and we'll see you next time.
Let me be honest. I didn't think it was gonna look quite that good,... but it did and it impressed me.
Only when it's finished it becomes visible that there is all these other parts it's like 'talking to'.
Not just other brass parts, but also the lettering and the shape touch of the louvres and such.
This shows that being able to clearly visualise the end result up front is an art in itself.
When you're done it sits there totally natural, as if has always belonged there.
It doesn't just add something, but it kinda matures the whole car.
An absolute score.
Wow, thank you very much for your compliment and honesty!
Your craftsmanship is unbelievable, but the explanation of what you are doing is what I find more impressive.
I absolutely love brass and copper. They just feel warm to the eye.
We used to use a piece of card on one side of the lower carrier too cant the wheel, when I worked in aerospace fabrication.
What a craftsman!
It was a kick to see the Red Wing Shoes banner at Bennetts Customs. I wear Red Wing boots and the factory is only 165 klicks from my house. Great work on the brass. Polished is best.
Great video your attention to detail and explanation make you a great teacher
VERY COOL !!!! Lovely Car
Been wheeling brass everyday all day for the last few weeks. Love shaping brass!
That is awesome!
@@MakeItKustom building another set of 4 full size brass palm trees @proshaper. Round 2.
awesome !! thanks.
Bennett's has done a great job with Midnite Special.i agree with wind shield great work by Karl once again. Greetings from Adelaide guys
Nice work on the windshield!
That flows so much nicer now! Great job!
Thank you! Cheers!
Amazing piece of craftsmanship and design- looks a hoot to drive if not a challenge. Love the brass windscreen. Somewhere in Canada a Timmies is wondering where there sign went 🤥
Awesome work Karl💚🇬🇧🌱 you seemed a little overwhelmed to start with but it came out great!
Drilling holes in brass can be tricky. It wants to pull or grab. Using a hand punch is safer or putting a blunt vertical edge on the drill bit.
I really, really love your work. It makes me want to get back into metalworking. Thanks
Always such great work Karl. Keep killing it. Brass looked beautiful
Absolutely beautiful
Looks great. Those blac weels would look so good with a brass and silver fine outer pinstripe to tie it together
Nice!!!! Polishing also becomes a problem when the object you are polishing is a knife and it gets away from you. Great Video!!!!
That thing is amazing. Well done!
You gotta go give Fitzee a class in templates, he just despises using them for some reason and I love poking at him and saying……hey Fitz, Karl would’ve used a template on that! 🤣
you are absolutely extraordinary with your works, never seen before
Your finished product is amazing
Fantastic! I love the english wheel action! I really like to have one english wheel too!
Very cool.
As kid I worked in machine shop that did alot of boating machinery, alot brass.
Beautifully done Sir!
Should we make a brass one piece belly pan for it next???
That technique works great on aluminum too, especially opposite compound curves in the same panel.
Awesome demonstration.
I love it! You killed that reverse curve! Keep after it brother
Awesome car!
Both u guys r great .. best metal whisperers in the world
Absolute class piece, well done!!
I learn something every video , thank you Karl
Cool car, that’s one of those that even if it’s not very powerful it still feels like you’re going really fast cause you’re out in the open and it’s probably loud and just such a sensory overload 👍
Shit yeah love how you changed it to brass. Thanks for letting me sit in it!! Legends
Great adventure
Awesome job, looks better polished, in my opinion 👍
Goday ✌good see you made it down under enjoy the show,s and your time fantastic cars &trucks 🙃👋

Nice work Carl, I agree on the brass, a little more period.. Good to meet you at Armadale Auto"s too. Vern. With the Lincoln..
Fabulous work and an amazing result. I really appreciated the in depth wheel tips and it was very cool to see you wheeling something besides steel. Keep rockin it!
Nice ! Just an idea, related to future custom's. Glass. Regards Barry keep it going

A master class of your process! A magnificent work of functional art that compliments a stunning car, which is also a work of art! Go Japhands, keep moving forward!
Karl glad to see your work Down Under in Australia. Great work as always on the wind reflector. Thanks for sharing!
💯👊👍
Enjoy your trip Karl ! As always thank you for bringing us along to the land down under
Beautiful car. Love the lateral shocks on the front axle. The windscreen looks spectacular. Really nice work Karl. Spectacular craftsmanship. Look forward to more from Aussie Land. Be safe and stay well.
Metal-art! Fantastic work Karl.
Dang Karl that is one fine piece of Brass👍
Wow! Just Wow! Perfect blend. Great craftsmanship!
Fantastic work!!
Nice Work. Looks Great. I think that you should make thin Brass caps for the louvers. Crump the top of them & Glue the Bottom, to keep them on.

Awesome work
Reverse curve was definitely the way to go Karl totally transformed the look of the car 😎
Very cool always learning from your content thank you 😊.
Nice job! That looks so cool.
These are sweet. I was thinking of building a little vintage style race car.
It’s like you went to the Make It Custom tool museum!
That new windshield looks AMAZING
Awesome job just making the paper template was impressive you don't get this type of information from tv shows
Nice work. Looks 100% better than before, Karl [and Jordan]
I think you need to make a large crash helmet and use the old screen as a peak. With Bennett’s and make it custom lettering. It would make a fantastic trophy to give away for a best of show.
Who's playing the fat blues?? Love all the work you lads are putting out. Next time East Coast AU and I'll be there. . .
Hey Jordan! Lefties rule! And nice use of the tongue whilst marking out
Oh!
Nice work Karl - again
Greetings from Canberra
Nice job all round.
At the 30:00 mark, I want to know where that Washington license plate came from. Back in the late 90's when I ran away from the US and followed a girl to Sydney, I brought gifts for people and one of the things I brought was a stack of old local license plates. Makes me wonder if that's one of mine! ha!
I bet using your old bead roller was a bit like putting on a pair of old house slippers just feels right...great video thanks
Very nice work Karl and Jordan
very nice, well done
Awesome!!
Venus d milo in the background corner upper level.
nice from Puerto Rico love it
Very nice work
Nice grill insert
Karl can you imagine what a great team you guys could be if you moved to Australia! Regards John
Just asking. Could you have marked the holes from the bottom? Great job though man.
Yes, but it’s best to make the pattern first so that you know nothing is changing
Classy Brassy! Class Act as always.
Great job!
And I love the background music. Hi from Ozz. Who is it
You're the man.
Great job Karl..as always
You should get Bad Chad to make something like this when he visits you!
Great job!
Looks cool
Thanks Matt!
Yes Sir !!!
Impressive 🙌
