I just bought the 40th anniversary edition of their debut album The Age of Consent because of the additional content. Of course I had the original one and anyone else should own the CD or LP. It contains Smalltown Boy, Why?, It Ain't Necessarily So (covered from the opera Porgy & Bess) and the cover of Donna Summer's I Feel Love (with Mark Almond), a medley that also incorporated snippets of Summer's Love to Love You Baby and John Leyton's Johnny Remember Me. All Killer no Filler! One of the best 80s records ever made. 🤗
LOVE THIS MIX!! Great workout music haha! Love Jon Jon's voice! he recently guested on a track I did called "Future" it's so cool to have him on the song, i've loved this song for years so it was pretty surreal aha! Definitely brought back those 80s vibes....damn music was so much better back then! This has got to be my fave song of the 80s for sure!!
@@sl4983 That's really cool, i can imagine it was huge at it's time! So glad to have got the chance to work with Jon, such a lovely guy and such a unique & fabulous voice ☺️🙌🎶
Jimmy Somerville was original singer. He left to go solo and formed with The Communards with Richard Coles. Their hits were 'Never Gonna Say Goodbye" and "Don't Leave Me This Way" both excellent.

John Foster was Jimmy Somerville's replacement. This was his most successful single with BB. Somerville left Bronski Beat in 1985 and went on to have success as lead singer of The Communards and as a solo artist.
More like suppose YOU didn't realize...BB then Communards...their lyrics wtf "I've got that feeling, them beat boy feelings" you figure out da rest broski
Bronski Beat so ahead of its time. Still so vital and important music.
Amazing, I used to DJ in the '80s and this was one of the favorites with everyone and not always the message but the music, sublime...
OMG!!! Dancing in my office like a teenager. Love this remix🎉🎉🎉
