Space - Magic Fly Donna Summer - I feel Love Cerrone - Supernature Georgio Moroder - all...... Electronic - Disco MASTERS, there is no repeting this great era....
CERRONE -LOVE!!!!!
Good for you! DJ's are the backbone of the music indusrty; they can make or break a record.I'm glad that people can still appreciate quality music when they hear it!
Can you imagine that at the time when this song was released, kids like me (I was 9 back then) could sit back and just listen to music, doing nothing else than just listening to and enjoying the music. Listening to this song with good headphones, eyes closed and letting fantasy loose got me some amazing movies running in my head. :-)
HI HENRIK IS DAVIDE FROM PISA I STILL LISTEN THE 70/80 AND I WROTE SOMETHING IN ITALIAN IF YOU LIKE WELCOME IN THE WORLD OF REMEMBERING ABOUT THAT UNFORGETTABLE YEARS,!!!!!!!!
I'm a 90's kid (unfortunately, I suppose), so I didn't get a chance to experience all this glory first hand. But I absolutely adore music of the 60s-90s! It's just...different... Had more soul to it, if you get my drift. Stuff from Kraftwerk, Moroder, Jarre, Cerrone, Gary Numan, to name a few, that I found exploring the musical possibilities of what was then known as 'the sound of the future' (synths) really well.
Can you just imagine today's songs without video or some other gimmick, they'd never last a week on the charts. Or songs that become hits because of the video. These were the times...
Alain. Programmateur sur synthétiseurs.
I have to play this when I get nostalgic for a time that I LONGED to be an adult in...my brother and sister used to go to all of the clubs and I stole ALL their records...this was a favorite. STILL dancing to it!
This is one of the songs that started my dream to dj someday and I will blast it on my first gig if that dream comes true. I'm 100% positive that the younger generation will dance and have a ball to this song just like you did, all they need is someone to introduce them to this kind of music promoted in a right way with a little bit of modern twist in it.
Gotta love it. FWIW, the original LP listed this as a three-part suite: 1. Supernature 2. Sweet Drums 3. In The Smoke ... and of course, lyrics by Lene Lovich
Thank you Treminuti, bringing back the sweet memories. What a wonderful lyrics, it was a forecast of the things to come and to suffer by the humanity - The relief he provided is wonderful music. Thanks a lot.
Wow, me & my cat enjoyed listening to this Cerrone - Supernature music & it always keeps my cat's ears up like an owl. 🦉LOL. Especially the longer version near the end of the video more like a "horror movie" LOL. AWESOME! ❤️😛😸🦉🙏. I happened to have this exact album myself too.

Sometimes I ask my dad "What was the seventies like?" He would just tell me about how different it was then the 2000's. If I were him, I would sit my son down and make him listen to this whole entire song.
A lot of people were robbed. ;). True story: I started out as a DJ back in 75 and we'd always had advanced copies of tracks. The first time I played it at a party they were like "Yawn, yeah whatever" (Go figure). It came on the airwaves a few weeks later and we did a party for basically the same crew. Then it was like "PLAY SUPERNATURE" PLLLLLEEASE? Can't please some earthlings I tell ya.
That's the way entertainment is... you can essentially put anything in the top spots of the charts with these ingredients: connections, influences, money, media and advertising.
"Maybe nature has a plan to control the ways of man He must start from scratch again many battles he must win Till he earns his place on earth like the other creatures do Will there be a happy end, now that all depends on you"
No. It's just people don't care about putting thought into anything they record anymore. What's out today is cotton candy: it's only sweet for a moment and then it disappears. This track is honey...which never goes bad.
On this day in 1978 {March 11th} Cerrone, aka Jean-Marc Cerrone, performed "Supernature" on the late Dick Clark's 'American Bandstand'... Two months earlier on January 21st it entered Billboard's Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #70 and spent 5 weeks on the Top 100... And on January 21st it reached #1 {for 4 weeks} on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play chart... R.I.P. Mr. Clark {1929 - 2012} and Cerrone will celebrate his 61st birthday in two months on May 24th...
At 12:55 we are back where it all started : on the operating table, the sounds of various body-function monitors, the thing being created twitching or stirring every now and then. Sweat beading up on the mad doctor's forehead and then dropping straight down into exposed viscera. This here is a listener's marathon, but somehow I don't find it repetitive. Maybe because I grew up listening to this stuff. Radio, of course, always stayed away from side-long extended versions like this one. This cover was seared on my mind from those days.
Better watch out There no where to stop Now that you can't escape Its too late Look what you've done There's no place for you to run, the monsters made We must pay ! Looking at the sculpture of the world today I'm doing a lot of paying !

Et vous oubliez Kraftwerk :)
It was as if the Aliens had landed and it was sexy too
I am still fan of this music starting from late 70’s
You can feel Cerrone going off on the drums to this disco masterpiece, this long version is incredible...
I would give nearly anything to be dancing to this in a club back in '77...spinning and twirling, having a ball. I was ROBBED!
The Best,Great Artist forever..!!!

55 YEARS OLD NOW NOSTALGIC SONG BRINGS TEARS IN MY EYES

Yay I used to have this version and love it ❤ Thanks for putting it up!

DjDedan this could not get any more real that in today’s situation with the Corona virus
I still love this song the complete song😊
Classic Beat!
I was too....I was 6 years old! Not many 6 year olds could get into Disco clubs. I did get to see Star Wars in 77 at the theater.
Me encanta esta canción, es una pasada
No. It's just people don't care about putting thought into anything they record anymore. What's out today is cotton candy: it's only sweet for a moment and then it disappears. This track is honey...which never goes bad.
