- These are the easiest, fastest homemade dinner rolls ever! They are light and fluffy with a delicate pull apart texture. The dough can be made up to 2 days ahead or as little as 2 hours before baking them. They are fantastic served with soup and pasta dishes. You are going to love them!
These dinner rolls go beautifully with the Ginger-Carrot Soup I made in last weeks show.

• Carrot-Ginger Soup
Ingredients:
1 cup warm water( 110 degrees), and 1 teaspoon white sugar dissolved in the warm water
2 packages of active dry “original yeast” (I use Fleischmann’s brand), or 4 1/2 teaspoons of yeast
1/2 cup salted butter melted
1/3 cup white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
4 1/2 cups bread flour ( I use Gold Medal Brand, or King Arthur)
Combine the water, 1 teaspoon sugar and yeast in a bowl, let it sit at least 5 minutes until the yeast is foamy
In a mixing bowl combine the melted butter, 1/3 cup sugar, eggs and salt and beat with a whisk.
Now whisk in the yeast mixture.
Add the flour 1 cup at a time until all except a 1/4 cup is incorporated.
Put the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead as shown in the video adding the remaining flour until it is smooth and soft.
Put the dough into a greased large bowl and cover tightly with plastic wrap.
Store in the refrigerator for at least two hours until it has doubled in size, or up to 2 days. When ready to make the rolls,
grease a 9 by 13 inch metal pan. Divide the dough into 24 equal sized pieces and place evenly in the pan, pushing the dough down slightly.
Cover the rolls with plastic wrap and a towel and leave to rise until the rolls are doubled in size, about 1 1/2 hours.
Preheat the oven to 375
bake until golden brown, about 17 minutes. Immediately inver the rolls onto a cooling rack to cool.
Serve warm with butter! Enjoy!

I've watched over ten videos on making rolls, yours is the best one so far. Great instruction and technique.
Thanks so much 😊
So nice to watch a video without a long stupid intro, loud background music, loaded with ads, rambling, begging for likes and subscriptions!!!! Great job Diana!!! Your video was enjoyable and informative so I subscribed!!
Thankyou! I really appreciate your comments. Have a wonderful day and thanks for watching!
I appreciate the outtakes, made me smile.
I was very disappointed with my own baking, till i found your video. De-stressing. Clear instructions, focused, and now my family's food is delicious. Thank you.
I just made these. I made the dough yesterday afternoon and let it sit for 24 hours in the fridge. Then made them today. Omg they're so good. Thanks for the recipe Diana.
This recipe seems easy enough to understand and actually make.... convenient for people who may fall asleep due to health issues and get up the rolls are in the fridge ready! When my hand heals I'm going to try this and may have my son help me with the last part so we can have them for Thanksgiving.
I love the way you went into details on which brand of flour. None of the videos i watched revealed that secret. No wonder why my bread cannot come as nice and fluffy. Thank u for ur honesty
Amen to this comment...
Hi. I recently made these buns & they were a hit. I am not a baker but this recipe was easy to follow (thank you Diana!). Few advices to fellow new bakers; my 1st batch of melted butter burned. I had to redo & melted butter on low heat. It took 10 mins. My eggs were cold & the dough was sticky so I ended up using full 4.5cup of flour plus additional flour on the board for kneading. The dough rested in fridge for 28hrs & it was easy to shape into smaller balls with no cracks. For outside fermentation, the balls were not rising so I moved then into a cool oven with the oven light on. They rised within 1.5 hour. The buns were soft & fluffy. I do wish, I brushed a bit of egg wash before baking for deeper color on top. I highly recommend this recipe.
My mom found you! She is watching you now and is making us rolls tonight! Your recipe!
Very nice video. I kept having problems with rolls. Gave up trying to make them. I decided to try again and your recipe and video worked great. I figured out it was my nerve damaged hands. I was killing my yeast with too hot water, so rolls were hard. I used thermometer. Lol. Now they come out soft every time. I even tried my old recipe again and worked fine.
Very nicely explained
And giving nice tips
Txs for your.💐💐🙏🙏👍
The rolls are a work of art. Love the out takes
These rolls are so good. Freeze and thaw for soups they are the best. I got creative and used this dough after refrigeration overnight to make lovely cinnamon rolls. YUMMY 😋

Diana rools
Thanks for watching! The rolls are wonderful, have fun making them!
VERY good tutorial. I agree with everything....EXCEPT...you absolutely CAN use AP flour. But if you do, you're going to have to take more time and knead the dough more thoroughly, and in addition to kneading I suggest the "stretch and fold" technique. After the first rise, stretch your dough over and over, folding each time. You will feel the gluten start to strengthen. It also helps to use higher moisture content. Bread flour is best, but AP flour will work just fine. My dinner/yeast rolls are amazing, and I often use AP flour.
I'm so excited thank you so much! I used to make yeast rolls with my mother and when she passed we could not find the recipe. I tried it once it wasn't like hers but this time I could tell by the smell in the texture they are perfect. Happy holidays God bless
Elegantly and effortlessly demonstrated. Such comfort food.
Thankyou! I️ appreciate your feedback!
I made them tonight night and put them into the refrigerator at 11:30 pm.
I invited my daughters over for dinner I’m making grilled ribeye steak w/a pan onion gravy, rice pilaf and sautéed spinach with caramelized onions and of course your delicious yeast rolls.

Beautiful glass bowl.

I've never seen a bread recipe where you chill the dough before letting them rise. What does that do for the dough?
I learned some new things I didn't know before. Thank you.
They look great , I will consider making them
Looks yummy and beautifully done
I've used AP flour in many yeast roll recipes and always achieved excellent results. I also use my kitchenaid for mixing. So if you have AP flour, use it and if you have a kitchenaid, use it as well. 😊
I been using your dinner roll recipe even your cinnamon buns omg it’s delicious & easy to follow unfortunately I did make dinner roll last night for supper bowl all my friends are asking me how to make it & they said it’s very soft inside. Thank you so much I wish u can share your sandwich loaf recipe too....

Wow 2 packages of yeast? 4 1/2 tsps ? I've always used 2 1/2, tsps yeast for 3 1/2 cups flour for my refrigerator rolls but I'll definitely try your recipe to see how they compare. Thanks for including the recipe below the video.

Why would anyone take the time to make a rude comment. She’s doing her thing, you do yours. Rudeness is a weak person’s imitation of strength. Be better.

Patsy Quinn I’m thrilled you like the recipe! You can easily use this dough to make cinnamon rolls. Check out my recipe for fast fun cinnamon buns- they’re amazing too! You could use the dough from the dinner rolls and make the same filling and icing as the fast fun cinnamon buns. Mmmm - Im craving them now!! Enjoy!

Wow looks yummy
And thank you for explaining quick and easy to understand. I’m going to do this and hope they come out great!!
Thank you for this yeast rolls recipe. God blesd
Buyer beware; I’ve successfully made bread and buns for a few decades and lately was using a generic all purpose flour (cheap) with excellent results. I decided for the first time ever to try a well known name brand “bread” flour at more than double the cost and got exactly the same results. I checked the labels and found that both had identical amounts of protein (12%). They can print anything they want on the bag but there is no regulated definition of “bread” flour that I know of. So check the label!!
Anyway, nice video...I enjoy seeing how other people bake, even though I already make the best bread on the planet, lol.
Finally a recipe that actually uses sugar. I will try this recipe minus the butter part I'm stuck with horrible butter that melts weird.
Love the outtakes LOL
Thank you so much.
Looks good and easy!!
