"Hey Jude" was written by Paul McCartney in an effort to help John Lennon's son, Julian, learn to accept his new step mother. (Paul always called Julian "Jude as a nickname) I know, I am old and know a lot of this music trivia type of stuff. It may be useless information but it made me very popular at cocktail parties, which I no longer attend.
to sing and play at the same time is very difficult in the beginning for a guitarist. But I tried for the first time with this song and i succeeded .thanks a lot.
Hi Vicky, I usually get copyright claims if I play the whole song, so I try to avoid it. I do try to create play along videos but it would depend on the song.
Love the Beatles I believe that song was one of my favorites when I was young I hope to see Abby road in the future thank you so much for sharing how to play the beautiful song 💜🎼
I think you could just play base string one strum down for this song then maybe a few up strokes later, but that’s how I play it, love your channel though.
Could you post this on Ultimate Guitar or something like that? I have a hard time following a video, and none of the Ultimate Guitar guides are the same as yours
Great stuff Lauren, two things, I guess you know that Paul sings this in F.so capo 3rd, which would suit your voice better. Here's my question. .how come you don't show the lyrics with chords over the chords?
Thank you, Chantal for the recommendation. I get lots of song requests so I cannot guarantee that I will get to it, but I will definitely add it to my list.

How about giving "This Boy" a shot? Thanks.
Not sure I know that one but will look it up.

Great video. At the end: DCGD. I didn’t see you use G. It just seemed to be DCD…
