- Beatles Hey Jude Guitar song lesson EZ Beginner version. Learning songs is an important part of your guitar and musical journey and learning your first few songs is a very special thing indeed. In this lesson we teach a very beginner version of how to play Hey Jude. You only need a few chords and a few progressions to get the basis of this classic Beatles tune. We give you chord changing tips and techniques as well as several easy strum and rhythm patterns so you can play this tune fast and capture the vibe of the song. We go over all the rhythm and strumming patterns in detail, all written out on screen so its easy to follow along. ( I think I played a Beatles or a Rolling stones song once, with that chord in it ; and it's reminded me of it ever since)
