    The pillow technique is super smart idea. Can't imagine flipping a 52 pounds e-bike upside down on a bike stand. Thank you!

    you are the man! Love the Pillow technique. Also I like your tweezer technique you used to get that spacer out.
    There was no way I would have been able to remove that spacer unless you showed me the tweezer technique. My very sharp and very flat bladed tweezers (that I use to pluck my nose hairs with) did the trick in removing that spacer.
    BTW, I make sure to have silk pillow covers when I am resting these Hoes on a pillow, because I want them to be as comfortable as possible. PSA: "Hoe" is a Chinese word, it can be used an adjective, noun, or verb. It means "quality".
    I only use a mud guard because like you said, I see all the Kool Kids having them so I have to have them to. I myself only ride in the dry for the most part, and even if I do ride in the wet, I don't mind getting splattered with a bunch of brown stuff when I do ride in the wet.
    All my Ladies though prefer to be splattered with white stuff instead of brown stuff. Thanks for letting me comment, most of the Kool Kids Group Pages and Kool Kids Clubs don't let me comment 😞. SUBSCRIBED!
    Edit: to add paragraphs to make it easier to read.

      Idk if the same for 36/38. But at least on the 40, that “spacer” is an o-ring and the mudguard flange does NOT replace its function! You have to leave it as it is I’m afraid..

    • @ErichVonCartmann
      @ErichVonCartmann ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @lilyetch6524 , nope, wrong. It's a spacer, I installed it on my Fox-40 (2023 Grip-2 VVC Fox-40).

    Hi,
    I realy Like your videos and your jokes. Are you happy with the mudguard, or would you go for the smaller/ another one?
    Best regards

    • @Frorideism
      @Frorideism  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey Jonas!
      Yeah I’m loving this one and I find the size spot on, I know the bigger ones like a mudhugger would protect more, but this is def. good enough and… aestetically (spelling 😆 ) it’s decent.
      I mean some of those huge mudguards make it look like you’re on the way to the supermarket on your moms bike.
      And the smaller, let’s say a marshguard I feel like they protect too little

    Does the standard fit on the Fox 38? I don’t like the way the front half looks and from what I understand the standard is for the 36 and the XL is for the 38. Is that true? If so, I’m wondering if I bought the XL and then just cut the front of it. I wonder if that would work.

    • @Frorideism
      @Frorideism  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I've been under the impression that they both should fit either 36 or 38, but they are just different lengths basically.
      Maybe double check before you order, regardless of course you can always reshape it yourself if you don't like the front shape 💪

    Hi I’ve been looking into getting one of these mudguards as seen to be a very sturdy mudguard however just wondering if u believe there will be enough coverage to fit one on my mullet bike (29 front 27.5 rear) and will it buzz (especially on the xl model) or do you think the smaller model does the job well enough thanks any help would be appreciated

    • @Frorideism
      @Frorideism  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you mounting it front or rear?
      I think for the front it should be entirely possible to mount either the XL or small model, can't say for sure of course though obviously but iv'e had buddies use the XL version on 29 forks.
      Iv'e had mudguards buzz on my DH rigg during full bottom outs, and that was on a marsh guard and they are very small so sometimes it's hard to say if it'll work.
      Iv'e ran this guard basically since I made this video, so the full season, and for me I don't need a bigger one, Iv'e done a lot of muddy rides.
      With that said I just want to explain that my thoughts of mudguards is only to protect the bike slightly, head tube and my eyes, (and the spray you get into your helmet under the chinguard).
      I expect to always get totally covered in mud if it's muddy out ;) So for me the small one does good enough job.
      If you're looking to actually avoid as much mud as possible, maybe the XL is a better option.
      With today and free shipping, you can always order both and install the one that fits best, send the other one back! 😇🤠
      Hope that answer's at least something!

      @@Frorideism yes thanks for your response I was planning to mount it on the front mainly to just help reduce spray on my eyes was just undecided on whether the smaller model would be able to cope especially in the wet winter months but by the sounds of what your saying the small one does it just fine so sounds like it’s probably the better option. And thx for your help much appreciated

    Do you need to put air back on the fork since You took some out when you unscrew the screws

    • @Frorideism
      @Frorideism  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I don’t think that any air from the chamber comes out so you shouldn’t have to, could of course check the psi before and after to see though I guess

    Hi
    I have bleed ports on my fork, but the bleed nipples are not installed. Can the mudguard still be fitted this way?

    • @Frorideism
      @Frorideism  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ohh well I think so, as long as you have the mounting points and and there are those washer's in there.
      Not promising anything but haha, It's a fox fork yeah?

    • @Mapantz1
      @Mapantz1 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Frorideism Yeah. I just picked up a brand new 2022 38 A FLOAT Performance for an incredible price. I'll order the bleed nipple installation kit next week, along with the mudguard, just in case. I don't need them to be fair, as there's not thousands of feet of elevation where I am.

      @Frorideism  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yo Omar, for that Sticker you'll have to travel to one of Europe's northernmost countries, then venture into the land's west coast for about an hour, there you will reach a small town called Boras, known for being the top 3 rainiest towns in Europe.
      In that town there's a BMX and Disc Golf club (no, really) located at a skatepark and climbing facility (no, really)
      The club is called BXS. For 'Boras Extreme Sports'
      Go there, find that building, join the club, and you may retrieve said sticker!
      We'll be waiting.
