love it when you're angry. Mostly right too!
Mostly?
Yes, the videos are getting better and better as the 'enthusiasm' level on the topic increases.
News flash! We have been living in a Post Truth World. You being an American should know this
I appreciate your direct summary , truth. Well said sir.
Hmmm how things and rhetoric have changed so quickly since Thaksin’s return 🤔
100% he actually runs the country. Why else is he jett setting all over the country talking to politicians about policy etc. Also flying to Myanmar to have discussions with the junta, isn't he supposed to be on parole, what a joke
Great video, calling a spade a spade. Governments are taking your freedom away bit by bit, for the 'interest of society'. Everyone can tell there are corporate interests at play when the governments say that it's the people that want this or that, show me the referendum or polling results. If people didn't want cannabis in society, why are there so many shops? Why is business booming?
Ben fired up today and spitting facts
Ha ha ha - so funny how Miss Piggy's Brother Benny is all bent out of shape today about Cannabis. Either he has invested in a shop or he's having a bad day because his wife found out about him screwing a PR girl at a gents club in Pattaya recently on the down low. Funny how things work out when you are a blowhard on TH-cam.
If memory serves me correct, this PM is the first to go to the WEF. Every time the WEF has influence, then tyranny soon follows.
Just another WEF puppet. Melbourne Australia was the first test dummy for a "resilient city", as they call it, at the start of covid. The next plandemic will be the big one😢
He's exactly correct, wef are globalist commies, do your homework@@loveulez
@@loveulez (assuming your comment is aimed at osons3698.) You have an open eye as your avatar, yet your eyes are most definately NOT open. If you believe that nothing is amis after the last 3.5 years.....
Not really!
Love your passion Benjamin. Thank you for your efforts
IYes, I notice prostitution and gambling remain illegal yet the reality does not match the law.
Prostitution and Gambling, it's the same picture.
You need to lower your expectations of politicians ESPECIALLY in a SE Asian country. Kinda like here in the US. 😁
I wouldn't use a title like that in a country where bad google reviews are illegal
The voice of sense we need a few more like you 👍
Rather obvious that Sretha is merely the puppet. Thaksin is fully in charge. Recent meetings with Cambodia, Myanmar and Malaysian leaders and rowing back on the weed freedoms show who is really in charge. Looks like he quickly got bored with playing with his grandkids. Quelle surprise!!
I agree 100%. Tony has LOS by the balls. 0 jail time after an 8 yr conviction. 555. Yingy will arriving soon without the requisite arm sling and eye patch but maybe the wheelchair. What a joke my chosen country of retirement has become
I think you are absolutely correct Benjamin and 100% right on with your presentation today. Thanks for doing this and I hope it stirs the Thai government to smarten up.
Hmm, farangs need to be careful of being seen to smarten up anyone. It's an opinion.
Well said Benjamin I fully agree
I second that notion Benjamin. Make this thing a law first after the proper procedures. So what happens to the millions of plants being farmed that was given to Citizens? This is dangerously becoming a disaster in so many ways. 🇹🇭👊🏾🇯🇲
Yes the pm was invited to Davos by the WEF 🤨
Thanks for the updates Benjamin.
Angry Ben > "Dancing around the subject to be polite" Ben. Keep it up, good sir, we need more of this. Preach!
After 18 years as a US expat living in Thailand I wish I could say what I really thought, but what I will say is I am now seriously thinking about moving back home to America and never return to Thailand.
I have watched this channel for a few years now and I cannot recall a subject that Benjamin gets worked up about but this is one. And I totally agree. Keep going, brotha.
Governments can do whatever they want. If the Courts let them get away from it, and the people don't do anything, they will get away with it. This is the way that all government works.
Really appreciate your passion Ben thanks for your content!
Hawaii has monopolized Cannibis sales by doing just this; you need a medical card and only one company is allowed to sell… Noa Botanicals. The prices are artificially inflated
Now you know that you're a citizen of a non-democratic country.
Exactly!...Thailand is about as "democratic" as Russia is.
Democracy is a scam. Nowhere do we have a free and fair society, it's all governed by crooks.
Thailand's government exists at the pleasure of the military
At the end of the day Thaksin is back.
Anything is possible.
Interesting times.
Thai democracy is not western democracy. That has been known for years.
The war on drugs is horrible and I as a tourist will not come to Thailand if they make it illegal again
I made an offer that was accepted on 7 figure home on Sunday in Pattaya with subject to a personal inspection clause by May 14th and i had my ticket purchased on this past Monday to fly from Canada on the 12th for the inspection .....BUT BECAUSE OF THE PM WANTING TO CRIMINALIZE CANNABIS..... I HAVE NOW CANCELED MY FLIGHT.... AND HAVE WALKED AWAY FROM A 10K DEPOSIT..... THAT I JUST KNOW WILL NOT BE RETURNED TO ME.... In Canada, Cannabis has been 100% LEGAL since 2019 for recreational .....and i am not retiring to any country where recreational use is NOT going to Legal
So, cannabis has a complete and total grip on your life.....hindering your life choices.......thats quite sad
@@Rantallion-ou4he not really, he just doesn't wanna live in a country where he might be prosecuted for using a plant that's beneficial to his life. Having said that I still think it's very unlikely they will do a U-turn and recriminalise cannabis.
Well said
Lucky you had Roses and not Poppies on your desk !
Taking “Fake News” lessons from the US media?
In my area of Isaan narcotic laws are not enforced if the offender agrees to donate his stash to the police who control the trade. The dealer then gets a small fine.
Spot On Bro!!!
In a similar way. Businesses have a dream and they expect consumers to buy into it. Doesn't always work. This gov wants a certain kind of tourist, fewer but who spend tons. That dream might not fit with average people going into economic hard times ahead. Thailand is simply not set up to be a playground of the rich and famous, they need to appeal to middle class people for their tourism.
👍👍👍
I am going to register for Ph.D on Medicinal Cannabis Studies in Thailand. Now I have to rethink. 🤣
Well said, sir.
There are 122 countries worldwide where cannabis is completely illegal (for either medical or recreational use) & recognized as a narcotic. You sound like someone who's angry because the Thai government is considering taking away something you are possibly addicted to & been freely available to you, up until now. (You seem "overly angry" about this, almost to the point where you are taking it personally. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm just telling you like I see it). PS: Love the channel. Keep up the good work.
Marijuana isn't addictive, unlike Meth.
@@mrman487 Read my comment again. There was never a mention of him being addicted to marijuana at all. 🃏
@@CryptoSteve007 "You sound like someone who's angry because the Thai government is considering taking away something you are possibly addicted to &"
ok
@@mrman487 You've just highlighted you intelligence or lack thereof. 🤡
Good on you
They are going backwards in doing this. Far and away the drug problem is with methamphetamine use. To say it's okay to carry any amount of it is crazy. Got to wonder what's behind this line of thinking.
Agreee with all you say Ben,but I do think opium probably needs control even though it has profound medical uses like cannabis Fentanyl is a different issue of course Thanks for you sensible take on the issue
Is it possible for a naturalized citizen to run for office in Thailand?
You go ! Testify ! 👍🏻🙏🏽😎
Well said 😅.
Just wondering, does the Supreme Court in the Kingdom have a similar structure like the US?
Great presentation. I'm with you
I completely agree with you but there is one aspect of this which is not clear to me. When cannabis was removed from the narcotics list, wasn't that also done by ministerial regulation?
the question what is their motive,, what is the veste interest behind him
Control, money, power.......what else would it be?
@@user-gs3tq6bx2u u mean the elites of business finance politics and military
Words. Mr. :-)
It amazes me how well the tourist numbers have bounced back without Chinese not leading the way. A lot of reasons why but not insignificantly the legalization of weed plays a role. People will travel for weed just look at Amsterdam, FYI GOT to LOVE an ANGRY BEN 😠😠😠
You must know some pro cannabis Thai lawyers…. Is it possible for the pro cannabis lawyers to file an injunction to force the PM and MOPH to follow due process?
every American outlet is saying this its so annoying and as somebody who wants to start a cannabis-related business in Thailand its very hard to find real info so thank you for these videos
Clearly you like weed
Who doesn't?
I miss ranty Ben. Good to see you back on your high horse.
Headlines are just clickbait. I think people following this for a while know that the government can’t decide wtf to do.
But also it’s Thailand bro. They can do whatever they want
@@anthony9971 You're right and they will.
Cool down relax
When someone has realized that a zoo is a zoo
Yes..they can Ben. Me thinks he doeth protest too much...
Once again, you are applying solid logic to an illogical situation. As we all know, solid logic is in very short supply in Thailand.
Go Ben, I had to put the kids to bed to watch this video, Law and Order Thai style
If this unfortunate change does take place, I'll be interested to see how it all plays out. As you've stated in previous videos, the cat is out of the bag, I think it's going to be nearly impossible to get it back in. My guess is that it will remain so common place that it will hardly be enforced anyway. The store fronts with the neon green leaves may not remain, but the connections have been made, the supply and demand will continue... so they'd be wise to keep the taxes rolling in verses forcing it all underground again.
The government can’t close the 6,000 dispensaries
@@kingrama2727 Oh yes they can!
@@Rantallion-ou4he no, no they cant lol
And it all starts there they make laws to suite them and control the people
Nailed it!
We are living in a time where a country has made MUSIC above a certain TEMPO illegal nationwide!
Hide that vase & bouquet somewhere safe!
02:40 to be fair, yaba has also helped the Thai economy by increasing productivity of millions of Thai workers by helping them work long hours. It should be legalized in order to avoid its abuse, which is a big problem.
Let's play spot the pot head in the video. Then again, that's not much of a game, huh? 😂😂
Bravo 👏.
Very much agree. Seems that they are learning a lot from the weaponized alphabet agencies of the U.S. government. The push to enforce "rules" made up by those that do not have the authority to make LAWS, instead of actual laws is getting out of control. Government overreach seems to be becoming a trend worldwide.
Ben is steamed and deservedly so.Makes no sense
Ben, this is Thai!😀
Love the passion in your video 🍻🍻🍻
Maybe your point may not change anything, but maybe it might change someones point of view who will lead to changing the world. Thanks Ben.
Love your videos. 😂😊😂
There is something I don't trust about him
Just you !!... again😮
The PM?...you're not alone.
Extremely excellent commentary on the nonsense concerning legalization by the confused government on ganja vs. Yaabaa. I currently have a Thai lady friend that is “hooked” on yaabaa and headed for certain death if she continues. And have seen many Thais abused by that narcotic. The mere thought of the government legalizing certain amounts of yaabaa in comparison to ganja is ludicrous! Ganja is a calming non addictive plant, and I tend to think that even alchohol is much more destructive to the population. Sure…putting recreational restrictions on ganja is welcomed by everyone, and that is what should happen.
Is there anything that the average joe can do about this? I am sure there are thousands in the industry that are more than happy to spend some baht for a collective lawsuit or something like that to ensure certain processes are being followed? What would be your advice (as a naturalized thai, no legal advice)?
havent seen any rose petal smokers or rose petal edibles
Honest well thought opinion. Scaring off tourists is bad for the tax base.
I think the walking dead phenom is actually about meth users or Yaaa Baa Yaaa Baaaaa. Horrible stuff.
They should keep it legal but not to smoke, if the argument is to legalise on health grounds then smoking it obviously creates health issues in and of itself. This legislation was rushed through, I believe the way it was brought in was through some parliamentary sleight of hand bypassing proper debate that might well have preventing the current situation . Thanks for the continued information you provide on all aspects of Thailand
You will be dragged off to jail shortly
Good

Bens plastic flowers. Do not sniff lol. 😎🙏🙏
I agree with you but making public videos in which you effectively accuse the Thai PM of being a "dictator" is kinda risky on your part, no?
IMHO..Scale it back a bit brother. We are guests in the Kingdom. Honestly, Expats opinion on Thai political matters are ...inconsequential. Have a few Leos and chill out. All love.
#JaiYenYenNoi
You do know Ben is a naturalised Thai citizen yeh?
It will just coninue on the black market. So totally bizarre that they'd do this and miss the revenue. So bad. Its like how they deny prostitution and don't get proper tax receipts when its the main source of income for millions of this. terrible decision, and i don't think anyone should take weed regularly.
The police probably make more from the black market.
You're preaching to the choir__ Thai "law" is an absurdity, both in selective interpretation and moving the goalposts.
Anybody missing the junta yet?
Your constant rants are getting boring, sorry to say
Needs a cold shower.
