Roughly 1,267 yards on that first shot, but I doubt you walked in a straight line while looking for the arrow. It's virtually impossible to walk in a straight line without a set point of reference. Your dominant leg starts pulling you towards that side the farther you walk away. I notice it when I walk from my car across several fields at the park to get to the soccer or baseball field I'm going to, I end up having to make small corrections to stay on the line I want to follow.

Edwin use the odometer on the bike to measure. 😆 and carry a calculator and 2-way radios. But then it wouldn’t be as funny. Always a good time with you guys.
The issue with that bike is that it measures in 0.1 of a mile increments, or 161m / 176 yards. So it wouldn't be very accurate. They should use a range finder and then would get the distance in a few seconds without needing to move.

That tip is much larger (probably heavier) than the standard field point of the arrow, which would be less aerodynamic, also the hole in the tip would cause drag and turbulent air flow.

I never heard of 30 degrees. 45 is the theoretical optimal,though in physical condition it is closer to 42.8 degree due to air drag
