I had a Western Field 12 gauge shotgun which is a knockoff of the Mossberg 500 and I loved it because most of the parts and accessories are compatible with each other and since the Mossberg 500 had so many awesome options, I was able to soup my Western Field up really nice to make it a Ideal Home Defense shotgun.

I have a Remington 870, I've had it 15 years, wood. It's crazy how the more I used my gun the smoother and better the action is. Pump shotguns are a must have for a apocalypse
You guys set a pretty high bar with the O2 tank in the safe, and I thought it would be a long time before u best that but that second shot at the tank definitely did it 👏👏👏 🥂
For some of us, the best home defense shotgun is the one we have. Mine is a Mossberg 500 semi-auto but, it's only 20 ga and in my state we're allowed to have pistol grips on long guns so, I have the (REAL) tactical version. The main reason I went with semi-auto is, my left shoulder is trashed from old injuries so the action of pumping a shotgun causes too much pain for me. As for being 20 ga, although there's not as much variety in shot types, it has 3/4 the power of a 12 ga but, only about half the recoil.
@@sprocastersprocaster Never.... Take a mix of three inch and two shells with bayonet over a semi. Semi shotguns are like an automatic transmission- made for girls and only used by them. How you identify is what you are...
Bayonet makes it longer and loses the advantage. A handgrip is more practical since you can shoot from every angle and instead of bayonet you need a 9mm handgun for close distance ... bayonets are for open fields!
I wonder if the charge is sensitive enough for a average pellet rifle to set it off? Glad to see there was no hospital visit as a conclusion to the vid. Stay safe brothers.

Firebird targets are way more fun with silenced guns using subsonics. Also PCP rifles and break barrels. I also like them better at 100 yards due to delay in the sound from time of flight.
I own a Remington 870 Tactical Shotgun. I love it. That 9mm is amazing. You were going through rounds and there was no recoil at all. Super fast. Thanks for sharing.
I recommend you do a video comparison of that pistol with the underrated Ruger Competition, along with others in the same class. Out to 50, 100, 150, and 200. Without dot/with reddot.
