Man there aren’t many gun channels that shock you with the experiments and give you a good laugh! Keep going Edwin ! Always look forward to watching what wacky science experiment is next!
Great video! You should try this with a large bore muzzle loader and a round ball. Round balls tend to penetrate in a much straighter line than elongated projectiles.
@@PaperMakersAdeludedbroadthat would track. Water works well with bullets because water is generally considered non-compressible. Enough force comes in and that water gets forced outwards. Pumpkins have the dead space you mentioned rather than water (even water suspended in a more solid medium).
When you do these multi caliber bullets, you should partner up with Balistic High speed so we can see how the bullet travels. that would be an amazing video. Maybe rethink about redoing this video.
You guys could probably buy bullpups that's about the closest thing to a pistol that's what your commandos use I'm sure you could get one are you guys allowed semi auto rifles or just shotguns and bolt action maybe explain what you're allowed to have
Nice work as always. I've been watching you for quite awhile, and you never cease to amaze. One thing, the American Flags on your earpro should have the stars facing forward. Other than that, nice job.
Hello Edwin. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that the most powerful revolver in the world was the 500 Bushwhacker.- It is a BFR modified and upgraded by TII Armory.- When will we see you shooting this beast? Have a nice day...
two reasons, it is still a very new round and due to it being so new, it is rare. not only the round but the weapon too. i have no doubt he will fire it in the future but i wouldn't bet on it being soon. hope this helps!
The S&W 500 Magnum is the most powerful production handgun. If they are ever successful in getting them mass-produced and into the mainstream gun market, they undoubtedly will take the title. I have the 500 S&W; and I assure you, it's a out all I want to handle. The Bushwhacker is awesome, but that recoil/muzzle flip is a high-speed lobotomy waiting to happen.
I get really stressed when I see you handling those hand grenades!...By the way, my very first rifle was that 303 British when I was a kid, I customized and shortened the stock and refinished the wood! 👌
Edwin, you are my father. I've been searching for you for a long time. When I saw you on this video, saying you will give the 50 to your child, i just knew you were him. My daddy.
YES on the BIG revolvers [with big cases and lots of powder] the gasses [plasma] that escapes from the gap between cylinder and the beginning of the barrel will do amazing damage! MythBusters actually tested this very thing… it was ugly. I own an S&W 460XVR [the 45 cal version of the same frame as the Mighty 500… but VERY fast, hence X (extreme) V (velocity) R (revolver) not quite 2500FPS]. I have slow motion Video of massive flame blasting out of that gap! Oh and it has the lightest most hair triggered, trigger you can even imagine! [typical of every S&W revolver I own BTW]. So YEAH he is crazy to get anywhere forward of that gap between the cylinder and barrel! [but at least he didn’t have it cocked. I shoot all my double actions as if they were Single action… which is when the triggers are “just think about pulling the trigger” and its GONE
Hello, the problem w/the round going downward is due that the shot wasn't perpendicular to the level of the pumpkins, just say'n! Fun stuff, keep up the good work and vids, for sure!!! Be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 🙏😇👊
i shot that 303 lenfeild carbine many years back , its a great rifle , it was actuly so actrate that the british used it as a sniper rifle in the 1rst world war .
Is it possible to have a clay pigeon shoot with Automatics or would you just miss most of the time due to the shot that is used? Maybe you could have Mark come over and see ? He could bring his favorite Auto's with him too?
We were shooting are British 303's at trees in the hills and found out they went right through 2 good size trees! We also wondered about the powder and was surprised to find out the powder was actuall plastic explosive strips! Was called surplus ammo from Floyds Hardware store.
The ultimate display of awesomeness would to see an rpg hitting solid granite or a large thick concrete block at night and record it with a high speed camera. You can do it, you seem to be able to get your hands on every awesome weapon, that would be super exciting.
Man it blows me away how slow you walked away from that grenade. Y’all are hilarious man.
What grenade?
@@anthonyjohnson100near the end of the video
There was no grenade you are crazy
@@krissylee524 I wanted to see if someone would go back and look thru the vid again and get mad or something.
The lethality range of an m67 grenade if about 15 feet

Thanks for your video. Needed something new and your guys always deliver
You guys make a great team. Thanks for the great firepower videos. Stay Safe!
Science channel is now the cooking channel too!!!
"COOKING WITH WALT"....
You guys are having way too much fun! Great therapy! Enjoying your videos for some time now - keep 'em coming!
the best Science Channel on TH-cam
There's no way that was a real m67 grenade, what m67 grenade has an 11 second fuse 😂
A real m67 has a green neck and cap, silver neck is a display model. The fuse delay on a real one is 4-5 sec
@@Kalidor99 It's a real M67, he just changed the fuze to a longer delay one. The fuze he is using is also covering the neck, it's green underneath

That 45.70 sounding like a thunderstorm.
Underrated channel. The fact he’s still alive is impressive.
Should set up a camera to catch and see which animals came to eat the pumpkins. Would be interesting to see I think.
Great idea 👍
Nature channel
I love how nonchalantly you put the grenade in pumpkins and walk away great video
Watermelons are easy to make explode. But only a few bullets can make a pumpkin explode.
Because of all the dead space in a pumpkin I would assume... I'm not a scientist though, yet

@@PaperMakersAdeludedbroadYeah you're right..The amount of energy transfered to the pumpkin is far less because it's hollow.
They should fill them with water.

The 303 British was used in the Canadian military by inuit in the late 1990s a very accurate rifle

You should look at the TII bushwacker 500!😊
One of these times, "just for science" you'll have to explode multiple M 67's at once. The people want to see that, the people have spoken😂

How did you get M67's? Not that I want one, but I'd like to know how these can be available outside the military.
Mr. Edwin, I have a suggestion for the next video to use those powerful pistols vs. billiard balls🎱🎱🎱. I’m sure that the result will be eventful 👍👍👍
That's really cool, anything that is one of one is special! Poor pumpkins 😂PEACE ✌️
