I've bought both Layton and Layton Exclusif. If you wait untill the total dry down on both on my skin exclusif blows the original out the water and becomes sweeter and it lasted longer. Wow
I love Exclusif.
I got Layton and im absolutely in love with it and recieve compliments very often when wearing it. With that said im still very curious about layton Exclusif and im thinking whether it’s reasonable to own both or not?

Creed Royal Oud is my favourite that I’ve tried so far. Just gives me the impression of wealth and definitely adds confidence
Layton Exclusif is Boss in a bottle, incredible blend. This is The WINNER's circle. Parfums De Marley hit it out of the park with this one. My favorite woodsy fragrance is Terre D'Hermes edp the cedar wood dry down is niche quality. Royal Oud is dope, quality sandalwood.
Very nice to see your take on this. I actually felt the opposite about it, relative to the original Layton. Despite my estimation that addition of coffee and oud would lead me to prefer Exclusif over the original, I actually ended up appreciating the apple intensity of the original even more. That said, I still need to retry Exclusif a couple times as I did only try it once. And my favorite woody fragrance is Tom Ford Italian Cypress!

Great Review Steven! I was wondering why you hadn't reviewed this one yet. My favorite woodsy notes in fragrances are Vetiver and Oud and probably Encre Noire is at the top.

I love the dry down of Tom Ford’s Vanille Fatale and Noir de Noir.
Comptoir Sud Pacifique Aoud Nuit... Begins with soft moth balls and moderate animalic with added sweetness and spices then dry down into sensual creamy suede.woody caramel delight... Rare, underrated, very different and addicting..
Love the woods on the the whole mugler A-men line :)
My favorite fragrance containing a woodsy note is Bentley for Men Absolute with its beautiful dry cedar note.
Gotta admit that Dior Homme Parfum is the one that first came to my mind; what a powerful and seductive scent!
I like quite a few woody fragrances. Recently I purchased a bottle of Woody Style by Arabian Oud and it is quickly becoming a favorite.
Was able to try the normal Layton, it's amazing! Right now, I really enjoy Dsquared2 - Intense Wood. Would love to try this fragrance blend!
That’s an easy one for me. Best cologne to me with a Woodsy note is John Varvatos Vintage with the Wormwood. Even though the longevity isn’t the best, it is by far one of my favorite scents.

Fahrenheit. It's been my signature for years. I still have a bottle produced in 2006 and I don't want to finish it, I just smell the atomizer every now and then. Givenchy Xeryus Rouge is a close second, it does have a cedar wood note, but it isn't in the woody family so I don't think it counts :)

While I do pick up on a lot of differences, I think the similarity is about 70%. For this reason, it might be redundant for you. I hope this helps.

This fragrance blew me away. The hype is real for once. I admittedly am very picky, so it suprised me how much I liked this.

I adore my La Yuqawam Pour Homme. Such a beauty.
I have a bottle of Layton and would love to try the Exclusif. Two recent woody (oud) purchases of mine come to mind. I have Gucci Intense OUD which is nice but was a blind buy and not quite what I had in mind. Right now my favorite woodsy fragrance is Boos Bottled OUD. This one grows on me more every time I wear it. I absolutely love this scent!

For me, Mancera Sand Oud is the best woody scent i own. i really want to try this one i tried Layton and it's not bad i actually liked it but if this is better then i definitely need to try it.
My favorite is the original Layton I would love a decant of the exclusif!
hi today i have tried a perfume called "Madawi" from the house of arabian oud and it was really a super great perfume and it remembered me of PDM layton. At first i thought they are exactly the same but the dry down is a little bit different i advise you to give it a try and i will be so happy tı know your important opinion about this pefume i think it is a layton killer :)

I love Carolina Herrera CH men, the combination of the woody notes with leather and sweet notes 👍🏼

Incense Oud by Kilian. The Sandalwood and Oud with the incense is superb.

I'm a big fan of Tom Ford Costa Azzurra. It has driftwood and oak.

Oud Satin mood by MFK and Santal Carmin by Atelier Colognes are two of my favorite wood noted fragrances. I like Oud Wood and Tobacco Oud too.
I love PDM, haven’t smelled this one yet. Godolphin is my all time favorite from the house suède leather, fruity vibes and woodsy notes just great.
I like Creed Royal Oud, just the faintest bit of oud - lovely! I would love that 5ml sample as this isnt available as of yet in the U.K!

Just got it today and it's sexy and sort of slutty / promiscuous to my nose haha. Absolutely *LOVE* it, even more than the OG Layton. Differentiates itself enough to warrant having both as well which is a big plus!

I smell such a synthetic accord in this one especially, as I do most of this line.
So brilliant at the opening and hints of genius mids, but overwhelmed by a synthetic core.

No civet note in this one. The fragrance notes of Layton Exclusif according to the Parfums de Marly website are as follows:
