L'eau D'Issey is indeed a classic! You absolutely can't go wrong with this one, as nobody dislikes this smell. Crisp citrus, fresh herbs with the warm wood notes, such a clean comforting smell. Personally its longevity is decent at best, I'd wear it in the morning and I can still smell it on me in the afternoon. Best of all, it's very affordable!

You know sometimes I wish my big sister didn't wear Black Opium just because it's so good and I'd actually personally wear it as a man, but both of us wearing would be I think a bit weird. It's strange how much certain "man" and "woman" smells can be not only unisex but completely appropriate to the other gender and seem fairly weird to the one it's allegedly for, like Bvlgari's Black for women is just such a masculine smell, meanwhile I find Dior Homme Intense and Tom Ford's Black Orchid to basically be woman's fragrances. Actually so too does Prada L'Homme, I think it's great, it's just a good number you need to be I think a specific type of person. That being stated, I think there'd be something adorable about a woman if I met her in real life and she was wearing just a manly af smell for no other reason than liking it. Some girl on a different channel was saying she got looks in class for wearing Encre Noir in school, which I subsequently got, and was one of the weirdest smelling fragrances I own or even sampled alongside Cicatrices by JM. I do sometimes feel like one of the few dudes who's never worn (nor had interest in) Invictus, Eros, Aventus, or Sauvage.
Curiously some women wear male fragrances simply because they like the smell - the very reason men wear them, to attract women. As a man, I like women's perfume but I wouldn't wear it. I use Prada Black... and if I got a whiff of it on a woman it would turn me off because it's a very masculine scent.
buy what you want, what smells the best to you and what last the longest on you. don’t let someone else tell you, the only opinion that matters is yours
Jeremy is the king of fragrances and knows a lot but I find that he often contradicts himself. He has recommended carbon countless of times. I really like him but dont agree with half the things he said in this video. Carbon is fire!
@@Kirill4Hart Thats because souvage still does the job. i was on a date recently, and the girl couldnt stop kissing my neck saying i just smell tasty. when ever i put sauvage, either i am getting asked about the scent, or woman look at me from different angles. there is a reason it is still one of the best seduction fragrances.
Ahhhh…. I wear what i wear! I wear Invictus, i can afford it. And it suites me well. Perfumes are subjective. Cheaper is okey but sometimes it doesn’t work well on you. Period😅
I use Allure Sport Cologne from Chanel in the gym after I've taken a shower there. Wonderful sensation.I understood that Chanel bought the formula of 4711 Eau de Cologne and I think it is using that formula in Allure.
Thanks a lot, Sir. My small daughter got severe allergy when we put on her neck a little of Terre d' Hermes perfume. I still conserve the perfume and the photos of the allergy. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to say it to the public.
*When I was kid I smelled one fragrance. It was hot sunny day , downtown, sunset. Few meters away from me was caffee, in front of the caffee there was a huuge icecream fridge, with lot of cornets on top. In one moment I felt that fantastic, for me as a child heavenly scent- immediately I connected it with those icecreams and especially cornets- then I was thinking that this is the scent of lot of cornets and icecreams on one place. As I growing up I realise that wasn't cornets and icecreams, but some fragrance- and I want to have it, but I didnt know even what scent could it be. Today, years after (11-12), so accidentally I smell something similar, but not that powerful, strong, huge, enourmous and overwhelming but I recognized that similar note- and I ask that person what fragrance it is- he didnt know but he knew its something coconut based. So I wanna ask all of you guys, do you know some good quality masculine coconut fragrance. Jeremy if you're reading this I wanna sugest you to make video: Top 5 best coconut based fragrances.*
I know one coconut fragrance, and it’s Coconut Frizz from Gurlain, I own it and it’s so freaking good smelling but it’s man’s perfume! Try that one out.
Btw I think if you go to your local perfume store and ask for coconut fragrances they would let you smell and you would be able to recognise that perfume!
This is a good video and I totally agree with you on the fragrances to not buy because I would never buy them and don't have them. I only disagree with you on "Greenley" from PDM which is a fragrance I do have and I'm on my second bottle. I adore "Greenley" from PDM!
I enjoy Carbon more than Sauvage, way cheaper & you can buy a bigger bottle to decant so you can reapply if needed. It’s also not as metallic & loud as Sauvage, which is good if you’re over 25 and want something more mature. Plus you won’t smell like every other guy on the street, it’s literally everywhere you go so if you want to be different Carbon is the better choice out of the two. It’s a great compliment getter as well. Daniela Andrier is a master perfumer, she’s worked with the best designer houses (e.g. Chanel) and has made almost every hit Prada has made in the past decade (e.g. L’homme, Luna Rossa, Candy). Just test it out for yourself, it isn’t a Sauvage clone, it’s a master perfumers take on a popular DNA and making it better than the original.

You are the only person I’ve heard speak of the last one. I feel in love with this smell 13 years ago on a comrade in the army haven’t smelled it since
I wear all the allure sport cologne flankers and the cologne sport is my favorite one, I even like it more than eau extreme. It's just a fantastic fresh citrus scent and it constantly gets overlooked. Generic? Slightly. Signature? Certainly not. But its a phenomenal scent, great for summer! Longevity isn't the greatest, but its a colognia. I go heavy on the sprays.
Jeremy as soon as prada carbon came out: any fragrance review ended with get yourself prada luna rooosaaaa carrrbonnnn!! Jeremy these days: don’t suggest you to buy prada carbon? Like okay
Opinions and tastes change over time. Also, factor in generally hyping up new releases + most likely sponsorships and what do you get? Just an opinion ™, nothing else. My recommendation is: test everything in advance (multiple times) and buy what YOU like, not what other like or hype up. That’s it. Cheers.

I absolutely love this video. I miss this Jeremy. I can tell a lot of thought and knowledge went into this video and I agree with the don't buy pics. I wish this guy would return.
I wonder why you didn’t mention my favorite cologne of all time. Blv by Bvlgari. Every time I wear it I get compliments from women but mostly men asking what it is? It is intoxicating and amazing.
Men ask what it is, because they wanna buy it, to have a good scent. Women give u compliments, because it is good. They also have no reason to buy an men scent.
Seems most people actually prefer Carbon vs Sauvage though... cheaper and more preferred by the women? SoCal scents did the test among a group of females and most picked Carbon.
Sauvage kicks its arse any day if the week, that's why Sauvage will be still going strong in 25yrs and Prada Carbon will be just another try hard clone
Absolute genius! This episode is about as good as it gets. Everyone who is into the perfume game oughta watch Jeremy's channel. The content is almost as addictive as the perfumes he analyses. Big fan, brother. Much love from faraway Bombay.
ISSEY MIYAKE it's a unique citrusy-fresh-woody fragrance. It's a shame because reformulation doesn't long lasting and project like the past. GUERLAIN IDEAL COLOGNE it's a pretty nice flanker. Light citrusy-almond base-soapy fragrance. So unique too. Sadly discontinued
i bought a small 15ml bottle of Terre D'Hermes Parfum... LOVE LOVE LOVE the smell, but wished it had a bit better projection and duration... which waas why i bought the Parfum to start with as i assumed it would be stronger than the EDT, apparently i was dead wrong, ha... I now just decided to buy a 200ml bottle of the EDT, it arrives in two days... thanks for the recommendation!

*from person who owns all the bad cologne
We I saw L'Eau d'Issey on the table I felt disappointed because it is one of my favorites, so glad you rescued it a the end!
Great video! I actually prefer Luna carbon over Dior. Last longer for me. 💪🏾
Jeremy is the king of fragrances and knows a lot but I find that he often contradicts himself. He has recommended carbon countless of times. I really like him but dont agree with half the things he said in this video. Carbon is fire!
People talk about sauvage way too much. Prada is king to me with their freshies. LR carbon and sport are amazing performers.
@@jerrychaseman452 also legend spirit is a good alternative for invictus aqua not azzara wanted and normal invictus
juggernuts1000 hmm never tried it just heard about it every other video. Guess I see why😂
Some people say in the other videos he said edp better in that video now he is saying edt is better. Guys he changed his mind in a single video..
Ahhhh…. I wear what i wear! I wear Invictus, i can afford it. And it suites me well. Perfumes are subjective. Cheaper is okey but sometimes it doesn’t work well on you. Period😅
I love Prada L'Homme, all thanks to your videos. Easy to wear for any scenario.
One of your best videos, I appreciate your honesty.
I use Allure Sport Cologne from Chanel in the gym after I've taken a shower there. Wonderful sensation.I understood that Chanel bought the formula of 4711 Eau de Cologne and I think it is using that formula in Allure.
this Prada is one of my biggest compliments getter and the smell is amazing, just saying :), thank you buddy
Thanks a lot, Sir. My small daughter got severe allergy when we put on her neck a little of Terre d' Hermes perfume. I still conserve the perfume and the photos of the allergy. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to say it to the public.
Carbon is my favorite smell ever and is even better than sauvage
I think that to, but is not thatmuch long lasting
@@stefanciocan17 I have a 70721 150ml batch lasts 8+ hours
Mehdi magry, very much agreed 👍
Yes a good bunch of people prefer Carbon over Sauvage since Carbon is more well blended and reigned in than Sauvage
Tommy Hilfiger is the best
Azzaro Wanted remains easily 8 hour on skin
What the hell legend Spirit do 30 minutes 😂😂😂
Azzaro Wanted is STRONG strong. First time I wore it I sprayed 4 sprays, and quickly realized that was a huge mistake lmaoo 1-2 sprays max.
Exactly! Idk wtf he's talking about.
I bought this one after watching a top
Now he says not to buy it lmao
I recomend Azzaro Chrome Legend ( lasting more than Jonny Sins ffs)
If you spray perfume on clothes, it lasts longer.
Does anyone wear it to work??
Not so old video but still you can see how much better Jeremy videos were even a year ago
This is a good video and I totally agree with you on the fragrances to not buy because I would never buy them and don't have them. I only disagree with you on "Greenley" from PDM which is a fragrance I do have and I'm on my second bottle. I adore "Greenley" from PDM!
I sampled Spicebomb Extreme in a store and bought it immediately.
Yes! The Terre D'Hermes EDT smells very good!
1. Love Luna Rossa. Got me compliments
2. Do not like Savage. Too heavy
3. Do not find similarities at all between them
The left arm of Jeremy's blazer looks ripped. His arm is too powerful for it 😂😂
He's been lifting too many Parfums de Marly bottles!
Kraft!
Prada LR Carbon is one of my favs, like it way more than Sausage. And it performs really good of my skin.
Factual
I agrew
Luna Rossa original to me is like heaven in a bottle, only fragrance that really gets me compliments. I have Carbon as well and I like it.
Dior Sausage
Factos
He’s convinced me. I’m off to rock Spicebomb Extreme.
Happy Easter Jeremy! Greetings from Poland! Siła!
Herod and Oajan are my go-to cold weather fragrances. Love their depth, longevity, and unique scents.

Amen brother. Wasn’t expecting that at the end there very cool! Just went up a few points with that shout out
Lets have a best/top 5 of "Tom Ford" fragrances
He did that already like 10 times.
Just search his channel bro he already did that

Espectador paraguayo agradece tus recomendaciones. Sinceridad ante todo.//Paraguayan viewer appreciates your recommendations. Sincerity above all. Thanks
Unfortunately it is no longer made, but Armani Attitude was my go to years ago. Great fragrance. Allure sport is my daily. Never tried Sauvage but keen to try it.
You are the only person I’ve heard speak of the last one. I feel in love with this smell 13 years ago on a comrade in the army haven’t smelled it since
Azzaro wanted is beyond better than legend spirit.it’s in a diff level
Holy hell Jeremy sick suit but that collar gap!! U need a good tailor! U need the Collar lowered big time!
Agreed! He's 100% wrong on the alternates there. I personally found the citrus to last quite a bit more than I thought it would.
@@jove1155 Me too. I didn't at first, but I think the pepper notes towards the bottom really helps carry it longer than some other citrus scents.
I have had both Aventus and Millesime Imperial and honestly I prefer MI ;)
Jeremy as soon as prada carbon came out: any fragrance review ended with get yourself prada luna rooosaaaa carrrbonnnn!!
Jeremy these days: don’t suggest you to buy prada carbon? Like okay
This is exactly why, he pisses me off😒😒😒
Opinions and tastes change over time. Also, factor in generally hyping up new releases + most likely sponsorships and what do you get? Just an opinion ™, nothing else.
My recommendation is: test everything in advance (multiple times) and buy what YOU like, not what other like or hype up. That’s it.
Cheers.
So are humans supposed to be static? We're not allowed to change our minds? Alter our tastes? 🤦🏽♂️
@@miXn i get it, sponsorships and bla bla bla, but you can’t cheat your audience for sponsorships, and not that he turned the volume down, he just went completely against it which is weird
We are allowed to change our minds but he does contradict himself a lot tbh.
Wanted gets me compliments all day long. It's my go to for a quick spritz when I'm going out with friends. Respect your opinions though, you do great ⚒.
Happy Easter to you Jeremy! God bless you always! Cheers!
@@chadder8561 isnt that will make your scent so common, if you tell them what fragrance you wear?
@@בחורטפש it would yes, but u dont tell them
How many sprays do you put on?
@@fropsyh with Blv just one it’s strong enough and amazing
Your spot on... and Issy is a classic and deserves a buy.
Seems most people actually prefer Carbon vs Sauvage though... cheaper and more preferred by the women? SoCal scents did the test among a group of females and most picked Carbon.
I just ordered Carbon because I don't like the overpowering scent of Sauvage. It smells good in the warm air but up close...headache.
How do you like it compared to the parfum?
Me gustan tus reseñas. He seguido todos tus consejos y han sido un éxito, gracias. Kisses from Chile!
" I don't put trash in here"... I felt that from the heart 🤣🤣🤣...
K by D&G smells very nice. Only starting out my fragrance collection but I would defo recommend.
I tried the edp at ulta today and loved it, about to get a bottle.
Thank you for the straight up approach, love you
Really like the new format. . You being classy and focusing on the fragrances. Glad to see you getting back to your roots.
