- David Easterbrook is invited by the Puget Sound Bonsai Association (PSBA) for a lecture and a demo on pines.
A Pinus contorta with no distinctive feature gets shortened and shaped in an elegant way after a massive wiring job.
Thanks for coming to our PSBA club David!
What a transformation! Have to admit I held my breath as you bent the branches. 😬🤞
I’m glad I watched this. I have a tree to collect that needs this sort of treatment but I wasn’t sure how to approach it. Thanks 🙏
Quelle belle évolution de cet arbre, merci pour la vidéo!
That was really interesting. Very elegant transformation. Thank you!
Very nicely done in short amount of time. Thanks for sharing David
Absolutely inspirational! Love your channel David
Great to see the change in a short time
PSBA (Puget Sound Bonsai Association) rules!!!
Lovely job
Great work david .
Just found you on TikTok. Subscribed! 💚🪴💚
Nice video, I have a lodgepole, they said mountain pine but looks more like yours, wondered what to do since it's so call and gangly, and I have some 4mm wire I ordered by accident.
Very elegant, I wish power point presentation hadn’t been edited out, perhaps you can show us in another video ❤
Superbe vidéo, merci 🥰
Around 16:45 David talks about David DeGroot's book "Principles of Bonsai Design". I have 20 bonsai books on my shelf. That is top 2.
About the same here.
Looks like I have 21, and one is in its way 😅
Any suggestion You think I don't most likely have? Or What is the other one? I'm undecided but I must say that Julian R Adams growing pines for bonsai does not get enouht attention.
Or Probably even less known Abe Kurakichi: How to make Pine Bonsai. That is the one coming, I have only seen French language version, but seemed like a real gem.
Transformation 👍
