The unbelievable fact is that although is so young , with no life experience, she has such a passion in her voice and her heart!!!!!
I keep seeing the conductor - who's been thru numerous practices and performances with her - is ROCKED BACKWARD, like he's been hit by a giant board, and he's staggered, takes a step back, looks at her and GRINS because he's SOOOO taken aback. "What have I just experienced?!!"
Everytime I listen to her sing specially this song she bodyslams you with emotion it's a tidal wave that knocks you down and you just lay there smiling
I would pay good money to hear a quality recording of this Angelina classic...what a touch and feel, the phrasing, the vibrato, the color - at her age is just stunning. And she is completely at ease !
The only person who could make me cry ,was Roy Orbson and now Angelina Jordan's voice it's so beautiful, she knows exactly how to get a hold of your hearts and put a wonderful smile on your face iluvU her..

Besides the incredible strength, the perfect pitch high and low, the vibrato, the rhasp, the timing, breath control, the confidence, the soul, the emotions, her unique timbre, her tone, is the ease with which 12 years young Angelina sings this song (and all her performances), is this perhaps the most remarkable of all.
Not a single sign of nerves. I believe she's born on the stage and it definitly belongs to her.

I’d been listening to Angelina Jordan’s songs over and over again and I can’t get enough of her. I listen to her songs all day long.No one can sing like her and she’s only thirteen years old!
She uses her voice the way a brilliant musician uses his instrument. She understands what it can do and has the good sense to understand how to use it for any song she sings. She is a vocal virtuoso, she never has to break a sweat or pop a blood vessel. I have always loved female singers and have a shitload of them old and new that I adore. but I have never been as impressed with any one of them as I have been with this little girl.. It just shouldn't be able to happen, but it does time and time again.

She's really good in holding notes... And that adds extra dimension to her already multi-layered vocals. A very impressive performance. You know it's not even the best audio there for it's just a fan cam but still Angelina's impressive abilities are in full show here.

The 'thing' on her head is traditional in Norwegian culture - a crown of flowers. When you see her in other venues, younger, older - she is quite frequently wearing a crown of flowers.

I would like you to react to her performances of Easy on me, release a week ago, At last, and I'll be there, both at 8 y. o. as well as to I'd rather go blind at 12, and at 10 years of age: I am faded, singing to sleep, I will survive, Above the water, Automn leaves, etc.... Al of them superb, as most of her 150 covers.

In this song, I imagine Angelina and her band in a nightclub having finished their contract appearance indoors out on a balcony overlooking the ocean, the moon at full above, and them just playing around trying to outdo each other to fill the boredom until the next appearance.
Imagine if Angelina showed up in 1969 Woodstock dressed like that, with her own band and then just let it rip. She would have blown that massive crowd away and be legend today. No question about it. She is magical.

I read a post on one of her vids that pretty much criticized everyones amazing responses, saying enough training could produce her sound. ARE YOU F****** KIDDING ME? I will not get into the twisted psyche of such a person but will say, there is NO training that could produce such a masterful quality, NONE! I am among the population of humans that has no singing voice and almost no true knowledge of the dynamics of the sounds a voice box makes but I KNOW, not think, KNOW this is a baby girl that has been blessed with an amazing gift. Anyone who has the pleasure of "training" her will be a better person for it! I pray Angelina has a good life doing exactly what shes doing! Side note: Amy Winehouse? Seems their souls may have crossed paths along with many other old souls. Angelina may be a child but she possesses a soul that has been seasoned to perfection.

I totally agree with you. Her voice, the colourful sound of it, the feelings she Conways, her timing and rhythm and style, just blows me away every time I listen to her. She is a precious gift to the world. She leaves you in a state of mind full of positive energy with warm and good feelings, every time I see and listen to her. By the way I, I really like reactions from GreyWolf. He at least try to explain the greatness of her voice and what emotional impact she has on people when she perform. It's crazy, but for me she has the greatest voice of all time. Crazy, because she's only fourteen!

I want to add something obvious but I think worth mentioning, and that is her musical IQ. By that I mean she intuitively grasps the essence of what makes these songs memorable. Then she injects that essence into her performance, so you feel like you're hearing a faithful rendition of the song, except better.
We all know that she is super good now and will only get better as she matures... I can even imagine what she will sound like as a young adult at the age when most singers got started.
Just twelve years old. Don't tell me she is not gifted from almost birth. Of course she has trained and practiced many hours, but without basic structure, nothing happens unless you have a gift to begin with. I was never really a fan of this music, but she put her own signature on it. LOVE IT Angelina. As I have stated so many times, "A day without your voice is a day lost."
Whatever she’s done with her hair just seems so right for the song and the period it was written for. I think it just accentuates what women in that time endured with such grace and power. Maybe it’s just me, but that’s the feeling I get.

I agree with You on every word You say. This performance is simply outstanding. And she sets the pace right from the opening, just listen to the reaction from the audience as she starts singing. She totally nails that opening in every possible aspect - and not just the opening. She does it every time and all the time.
Your other rewind to listen to "that note" @ 6:35... look again and pay attention to the conductors reaction ;)

the precious recordings of this concert by Boris Palenovski were unfortunately affected by compression when the orchestra plays loud, so when the orchestra plays loud you can hear the low end of the recording and her voice drop down a bit.. otherwise it would be only that much more incredible.
she certainly rises to whatever group is supporting her and really uses dynamic power with the larger bands.
''Cry Me a River'' from this concert is especially unique and powerful and really showcases her voice. Cry Me a River is one of her best songs and the best recording of it is still to come but there never be another one like this one ->. I believe the flowers around her head are to honor a Norwegian tradition. I have her cd ' It's Magic', and yes, my brain did not want to accept that the voice coming from my speakers was from that small girl on the cover, even though I had been listening to her for years. You should react to Mr. Lonely from the cd. Also her 'The Show Must Go On' and 'Feeling Good' are so worth a reaction. She can hold her notes!

I don`t know of any norwegian specific tradition on such flowerdecors as Angelina is wearing. I think Sweden has more like a tradition like this, girls and women putting flowers in there hair as they celebrate midsummer, and as Angelinas father is swedish so perheps. Otherwise I guess this is just Angelina loveing flowers, and making this a part of here image. By the way, I totaly agree with you on what you says about her CD. To me that record is getting better and better. I just can`t wait for her next album.
Actually I think it comes from her family who are immigrants to Norway. I'm sure her family is from Ukraine or somewhere in Eastern Europe originally so maybe that's where it comes from 🤔
Jollyo not sure. Brenda might t Be right. Only because I have noticed when she sings at concerts in Norway may people in the audience are wearing them too. I have been curious about this, I must say.

She had this performance on June 16th 2018 , so she was twelve, NOT EVEN A TEENAGER THEN!
I am in total agreement with you about AJ and this performance. I also want to say that you have a very lovely voice and accent! It is lilting, charming and soothing. You also choose your words carefully and are expressive but economical. I greatly appreciate this! There are too many reactors on youtube who go on and on about themselves and really have nothing to offer about the artist. You are a breath of fresh air! Thank you!
That note in that slide she does at around 5:50 almost sounds electronically enhanced, but I'm sure it's not, may be an artifact of the mic. You know the voice that shatters glass, hers must play a number on the electronics in a mic. That was very unique and awesome.
I've been listening to her for a year and I love watching reaction videos of her and they are are mostly all the same. I get the bumps still we owe her grandma for this bundle of joy!

She started learning jazz at eighteen MONTHS
She was eleven or maybe 12 in this performance! And 'that thing on her head' is a crown of flowers! Since the age of seven, when I first heard her, she has worn flowers in her hair. See 'Gloomy Sunday' on Norway's Got Talent.
I think the flower wreath is a Norwegian thing & her idol, Billy Holladay, often had a flower in her hair. I love it!
I really enjoy your reactions to Angelina. It's almost like you don't want to accept that you were blown away each time you listen to her, but we have all been there. I have gone back and actually listened to the original James Brown of this song and it's pretty awesome, but I have to say that from all the versions that are out there in the Ether of TH-cam, Angelina's is by far the best only after James Brown. This young girl has an amazing sense of soul since the first time she sang on Norway's Got Talent...I am still blown away at how she manages to invoke such emotions from her being. Chills are always present when I listen to her sing. Great reaction. Hope to see more.

all with Angelinas great signature on them. This consert was the releasconsert for the CD by Angelina and this orcestra. This is The Staff Band Of The Norwegian Armed Forces. With this concert and CD they markt and celebraited there 200 years since it was established 01.01.1818. They used this occasion to make this cd with Norways comming star Angelina Jordan. The CD, called "It`s Magic" is filled up whit classic jazz or jazzy songs and melodies. The are all at the standard of this one," It`s a mans world". At this consert they did all the songs from the CD.They are all on YT as well.
