This time around i thought i would try one of Angelina's later performances so see how her voice has matured. As suspected I wasnt dissapointed. Such a smooth velvet is out little Angelina!

I cry all the time when I listen to Angelina. I only discovered her 4 or 5 months ago. She touches my soul in a way that I can't understand. She's the most adorable, down to earth young lady ever and yet, she has a talent that is just supernatural. Mind boggling...
This young lady is possessed by the angels I predict she will become one of the greatest singers ever she brings joy to this world when it is most needed. Live a long life little angel.
This young girl has been singing since she was 18 MONTHS old! She is singing with the angels, and I think she is still in contact with them - she doesn't seem to be incarnated into the mundane world, where most of us are! She gives us - a glimpse of another world we have forgotten existed. But it does - and she is the proof! May she always have this sweetness and love for her art. ❤

I do love all Absolutely love her magnificent special gift of her glorious performances, but I am so touched by her rich rich voice here. I love her glorious heartfelt renderings. Oh my God! And, she was only 12 years old, so seasoned for such a young voice. She this is just great. She is so gifted that she doesn't have to ever push her beautiful singing voice to convey meaning and interpretation for her listeners. Just amazing.
I feel so blessed to have found this lovely girl and her voice. Her music is healing.

I have watch a lot of her performances over the years and I'm always in shock. She is a once in a hundred or thousand year talent. Reminds me of Elvis in a way how he could make you think he wrote the songs he sang.

I just can't get over her (Angie's) timbre, her texture & tone ect...& english isn't even her 1st language by 3rd. I feel like she sings like a professional instrumentalist playing an instrument. (yes I know the voice is an instrument) It's her approach I think of like that.That's why I think one of her (many many) skills is pitch perfect. A truly God given voice & talent,
I love it when she closes her eyes and goes inside, goes to the heart of the song. It is effortless. It's just what she does. Those gestures are all hers. She can do more with her voice in Lana's Young and Beautiful (Lana writes a great song). Her heartbreaking tribute to her dead friend Avicii is wonderful too. And so many others.

She’s one of the greats, you are genuine, i like you.
There are no mistakes. Her tone, phrasing, timing and her choice of techniques are pretty much perfection. She decides which songs to sing and how she chooses to make them her own. There is even more to her than we see in these videos.
She truly love's what she's doing. Lucky us!
You may know this but the reason she sings bare footed is also in her character as a sweet and warm child. Prior to be oming a world star (pre 7 years old) she went to either India or the middle east (not sure which), there she saw a girl about her age on the street trying to survive who was are footed. The street girl commented on Angelina's rather nice shoes, so Angelina, without any prompting, gave the girl her shoes. Since then she sings without shoes as mark of respect and to bring attention to children who cannot afford shoes. How can you not fall in love with this beautiful human being.
Please react to her, What a Difference a Day Makes at age 8. She absolutely nailed this rendition to the core of my heart. Can't get enough of this artist. She is just musically brilliant. Such a sharing of emotion for our listening pleasure.

It's great to see you continue your discovery of Angelina. There are a few singers today that will really "wow" you with what they can do with their vocal chords... the thing that separates Angelina from the rest of them... she's not even trying to wow you. She just comes in an sings a song as good as it can be sung. Nothing over the top, no showing off... just pure delivery of emotion. She's not just creating something that will blow you away. She's creating something that you want to listen to.... again and again. And she packs so many subtle details in there, that you will hear new things every time you listen to it. ...and she does this every. single. time.
I totally agree. I watch Diana Ankudinova & Dimash videos once and I say "wow what control, range and power". It's like vocal gymnastics that's beyond belief. Then I go back to listening to Angelina, over & over again.

I think Angelina performs with restraint, and control yet still has more heart and soul than the established current divas who feel they have to show everything that they can to impress (called ”vocal gymnastics” by some).
I agree with your comments to and I am a big Angelina fan and I listen to her music every day and I think I have listened to every track she has sung. Sometimes it may be a song I wouldn’t normally want to listen to but once I start hearing Angelena sing the song I find myself listening to the end because she totally draws me in. I think Angelina is totally and utterly incredible and she is in a league and a class of her own.

Amazing she's 12 years old here!!! As others have said...Her cover of Adele's....MILLION YEARS AGO....is very emotional, the way she sings it.
Angelina's cover is so smooth, mature and soulful that she makes Adele's version of "A million years ago" sound like a cover.
She never ceases to amaze. As incredible as her voice was younger, Maturing has only made it more and more incredible. Her talent for conveying such raw emotion, is beyond measure. You see she just becomes the music she is singing. Angelina is going to be a LEGEND!!!

Angelina refines her vocal technique quickly. She is already incredible. I can only attempt to imagine what she is going to sound like by the time she is twenty years old.

@@clydeatrowbridge I find it is more of an up and down, but always trending upwards overall kind of wave. Probably depends on my emotional availability that day or moment, but also her changing my tastes as it goes, which can take a bit of time.
Your reaction was similar to mine the first time I heard her sing. I told my friends and family that I just saw an 8 year old girl that swallowed Billie Holiday. She sings every Genre so well, I would listen to her sing the phone book. I am convinced she must be an alien to sing so well, so young. LOL

Thank you so much. You hit the nail on the head for me by giving voice to some of my thoughts about Angelina’s rendition of songs and her choice of certain songs from another time, a musical time I have often lamented seems to be gone forever but through Angelina they have been reincarnated, and reimagined in some instances. I refer to songs that were around in my early primary school years (1955 - 1963) and others from the Broadway Musicals like “South Pacific” etc. How did I immediately know them when my peers weren’t singing or playing them and I have never learnt to play a musical instrument? For a long long time we had no access to TV except to sit on the seat outside the shop windows and watch the shows on the TVs displayed for us. Angelina certainly has a great gift, no doubt bestowed through her genes and her exposure to this kind of music, seemingly encouraged by her mother, as I realised I experienced. Angelina gives us beautiful experiences of songs from another era but as has been mentioned by many other commentators, infusing the songs with her own particular nuances. What will be the outcome of her love for and influence on this style of singing and these types of songs? I hope we do not have to wait too long.
This is the song where I can hardly breathe it affects me so much. I have to put days between listening to this as my soul is overwhelmed.

Another dimension of talent.
I saw Angelina do a version of " I Put a spell on you " at age six (6) I was blown away. She grew up listening to Jazz that was played daily in her home by her grandmother. She listened to artists like Billy Holiday and Dinah Washington and fell in love with them. Her parents tried Love your show!

GreyWolf, I love your reactions, especially to this song. I, too, was absolutely blown away by the skill and clarity of this arrangement. If you think this was good, pull up her cover of another Lana del Rey song, Young and Beautiful, and react to it. I think it is even better than this one, but it's hard to tell which one is better since they are both sooooooo good.
Yes - pausing to comment is so much better than talking over the music. And it helps as you do and so many others don’t to talk about the music and artist, rather than themselves. Great reaction.
Another thing that can be observed here and that I have found consistent with all of the young singers that I follow and respect is that Angelina and the rest all "conduct themselves" with their hands (and body) as they zone into their union with the song they are delivering to the world. They also each have a uniquely rich, complex and pleasing timbre to their voice. They are all "angels" (but I guess Miss Jordan gets a leg up on the rest because it is already in her name).

Thanks GreyWolf for your reaction :) She just turned 13 years old. This is my take on her (and I'm not a vocal coach/expert either, just a music lover). I see lots of young and older singers belt songs like crazy, even screaming sometimes. But with Angelina what you get is pure, effortless talent, with a sensibility, depth, roundness and emotion in her voice that is rarely heard. And that's why we as her fans as son passionate. One thing I always point out is that she's taking a slow road in her career, mainly because her parents are careful that she keeps on growing as an artist while still being able to enjoy her childhood. That's why she's still not that well known. The time will come :)

Aurora has the same extraordinary capability as Angelina to sing with emotion and make her audience feel what she is singing, and as Angelina she has an uncanny control over her voice. I suggest you react to Aurora’s cover of David Bowie’s Life On Mars, it is unbelievably tender and touching.

When Aurora was 6 years old, she found a keyboard in the attic, she started to play and she discovered that she could play Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata bye ear. She started writing melodies as a diary for herself and when she was 9 years old, she started to write lyrics. She did all this in secret only for herself and Aurora's family didn’t know she sang until she was 14 years old.

Thank you for another very fine reaction to Angelina. As others have commented, listening to Angelina perform is an emotional experience in itself. In an imaginative moment I likened Angelina to a chameleon, inasmuch as a chameleon adapts its colour to blend with the surroundings, so Angelina adapts the "colour" of her voice to convey the emotions of the song and communicate those emotions to the listener. I follow a number of young singers through TH-cam and do so because their singing appeals to my emotions but good as they are and as much as I admire them, there is not one of them who can match Angelina's sheer ability and artistry in being able to sing so many musical genre in what appears to be an effortless manner.
