Angelina has defined her own genre in today's music world. There is nothing that sounds like this out there. There are ballads there is wrap there is hip hop etc but nothing with the soul and bluesy elements that Angelina has displayed here. It is something Aretha or Ella could have recorded in the past but Angelina has taken that essence and made it current. I believe she has reached a new pinnacle in her career but probably not the final pinnacle!

I'm curious what artist might be brave enough to attempt a cover of this one. I feel like Angelina has spent her entire life experimenting, taking risks, and perfecting her craft, and THIS is where she was going. She's performed so many different songs over the years which are arguably in the top few performances ever for each tune, and stunningly she keeps pulling it off, over and over again. Every time she does one of this caliber, we tell ourselves she's reached her peak, this is who Angelina is. Then a few months or a year or two later, she comes out and redefines perfection. For me, this is right up there with, I’m Holding Out for you, I’ve got in my top 5 favorite AJ renditions. If you close your eyes and listen to the whole song again, Angelina still sounds way beyond her 18yrs of age, vocally and emotionally, specially on song written with this level of caliber. She has mastered all the unique elements in Billie's arsenal of musicality and is able to bring them forth in a way that only Billie would be able to do. Billie was the most improvisational Jazz singer of all time and Angelina has taken that baton from Billie, crowning her as the reigning Queen of Jazz.
