I have always loved BMW since I was a young chap and I was in a similar situation last year, hesitating between BMW 320i, i4 eDrive35 and Tesla Model 3. After some serious consideration, I went with the Model 3 LR AWD. Trigger points: 1) Tax free. How often can we buy a brand new imported car in Malaysia tax free? 2) Performance. The hp and instant torque are insane, no more turbo lag. AWD too. 3) More refined and mature software and mobile app. 4) Audio system. It absolutely blows BMW out of the park. 5) Very spacious. 6) Peace of mind. There is no maintenance whatsoever for the car. No more service appointments yay! 7) BMW still has better handling but Model 3's handling is no slouch. At the end it comes down to the i4 and Model 3 but Model 3 is still the better package IMO. However, I hope there's still chance in the future for me to own a BMW!
Thanks for taking the time to your insights! Yes the Tesla is definitely better in many ways at a more affordable price but I guess it’s my emotional attachment with the 3 series that ultimately made me choose it haha.
I just collect my 330 lci and really like what every other owner said “drive a few days and you will hear the kruk kruk sound” 😂 but i also feel still bearable haha
For the brakes, the 320i comes with the standard one and the 330i and the 340i comes with the M Sport Brake, well of course then again, if you were to push it all the way up to the M3 comp, they will be on the ceramic and compound brake - which is way more expensive than the M Sport Brake. The adaptive suspension though, well, that's not really a deal breaker, just that drivers will have the option to select the comfort of the ride to be in sport or a comfort mode. Using it as a daily driver, the 320i should be sufficient, but if you want the best of both worlds, and you have some extra cash to burn, then get the 330i. The 340i however; to pay the additional near 100K for the performance boost, well, you're not going to have the car driven on the track to test its full potential, so omitting that, as per your say in the video is a good one coming. Have a go at the launch control if you have the chance. You'll definitely enjoy the ride more then.

Really loved the gear knob in the pre lci cant believe they took it away 🥲 loved the interior of the pre lci. I think lci really did more on the outside, especially the rims, hated the ones on the pre, difficult to clean and ugly 😅 but loved the new lci rims.
Hi bro ....i just sold my G20 330i P.Blue 2022, main reason the car very stiff and hard. Now driving 2024 Harrier ..feel very comfy but under powered....some times missed the car but its ok....
Do you consider getting it tuned as b48 have some great potential in that regard. Even some say without any noticable decrease in reliability department too
For the tie rod noise, do u think maybe can gather all g20 owner who facing this issue, all together complaint to the bmw Malaysia regarding this issue.. Maybe all the g20 owner can sign in the letter.. Then push the bmw Malaysia to come out solution.. If outsider can solve with another brand of tie rod, why they can't?

The seats on the CX-30 are more comfortable but the 3-Series has a more spacious cabin, including the back seats, the CX-30 is a little tight at the back.
yup, thats the reason why a 2017 BMW X5 hybrid cost as little as 70k used as the hybrid system is a bomb to fix. Its even cheaper than a Fortuner lol. Can't imagine BMW EVs. If want Hybrid, just go with Toyota. BMW is all about its ICE engines, B48 series are even used in some Toyota models such as Supra and Landcruiser.

320i is more than enough. Moreover both 320i and 330i looks identical. If only the 330i was with Sunroof, Cognac Interior, Harmon Kardon Speakers maybe it makes sense for the additional $$.

Just go for it, its has a twin turbo with BMW engine in it. I live in Qatar and Landcruiser is so common here just like MYVI in Malaysia. Its a lot more fuel efficient than the older 4.7L V8 or 5.7L V8 in older model and looked damn good in GR bodykit. The older model were built to last and were very comfortable although its a fuel monster.

Mine resolved…finally they changed the whole steering rack
Mine change all the suspension upper arm, control arm, stabilizer and tie rod . Problem solved
I love the exterior of the lci and the interior of pre lci
A lot of people prefer that combo as well, as the split screen on the cockpit looks way more sporty 🙊the LCI one gives you the modern feel.
AB should spec the 320i LCI with Adaptive M suspension as standard, that would hv resolved the harsh ride problem as it did for the 330i.

you can try to ask the SA, some models have default setting of between heater and cooler, you can set it to cooler only, much better after that.
