Thanks man, finally got through this part. Got it done in my first try today. I tried a few times yesterday but had to get used to playing the game, I had to remember a couple of things so I messed up a few times, once I remembered how the mechanics are & stuff like that for today, I got it done in my first playthrough without anybody dying. Planting a mine over e holes will stop that e-hole completely as it will detonate before they even can do anything. Keep your squad together I just played the left side & the middle rotating back and forth where the attacks where, so if the attacks were on the left I'd go to the middle if they were in the middle, then I go back to the left. Keep your squad intact & focus on the big ones with the grenade launcher/shotgun/machine gun, use grenades to take out the grunts all in one turn which would give you numerous shots with your remaining actions with the person you threw a grenades with as well as the whole squad. I'd also say use the grenade launcher for the grunts but when you use it try to hit the big ones with the machine guns or whatever they have. Always move in the middle up top or left up top but watch out for the metal shipping container on the left, as it can get in your way & use of all of your AP. Keep your soldiers shooting at its head whenever it's about to attack. Repeat this process from everything that I've mentioned to the point where you get it to the last bar of health well you're shooting at the thing above the corpser, at that point just worry about shooting it, don't worry about anything else like the person in the video says, You should be able to take out enemies in one turn with the grenade throw ability, use jack to boost your accuracy before you shoot at the big one with the machine gun or whatever they have, Main priority is to take out the one with the grenade launcher first every time, use that to clear out any other ones that show up, I try not to use all my grenades in one turn, everybody has grenades on them except for Gabe as he has the health stems, I took another vanguard with me for the fact that they can shoot long distances, I already had a high level vanguard so it worked out. Never let them get close to you always have overwatch If you don't have a good percentage shot, also I recommend getting remote reload with Jack, Go up that skill tree until you unlock that perk. I split the team in four (big mistake), took all the crits from enemies, got ganged up by 4 enemies and just grenaded myself to kill the four + me. It was a fun fight, barely won
This boss is pretty easy if you knock out the e-holes before they erupt using a bomb. It's just a long fight and you need to get your placements right. Make sure your folks are spread out and not bundled up in one place. Use grenade throws on those little critters and wipe as many out as you can with a single throw. The last part of the game is easier because you no longer have dropships coming in, just the corpser slamming on the grown all three ways.
@@farhan3dDon't have your people literally right next to each other but keep them close enough like they can be a few meters from each other use Jack's wingman ability or his barrier ability look at the radius on those abilities and have people spread out within those circles
@@coreymckee4844yea it is wild that you can't. The fact that I had this boss fight happen outta nowhere & you can't even do any other missions is wild, your juss stuck until you beat this battle. They should at least let you do side missions, that reoccur after completing one, instead of the whole you have 3 missions to complete every time, some of us are grinders & like to grind a level or two, or even more above the recommended level.
this is not hard at all if you take your time. took me about an hour but I was never even really challenged. DON'T EVEN BOTHER SHOOTING AT IT WHEN IT IS CLOSED. use these turns to take out ground enemies and reload/heal. LAY GRENADES AS MINES ON THE EMERGENCE HOLES BEFORE THEY OPEN. if you can do these 2 things successfully, and are ok with grinding it out, you should be able to complete this pretty easily 👍😎
Definitely shouldn't take a hour took me about 20 minutes or so, want to know your game plan and know how to avoid them as well as you pick a side where you want to rotate back & forth to dodge the tackling's as well as take every opportunity possible to wipe the enemies out in one turn using grenades to prepare for your next phase where you can attack the corpser it will be over quickly.
@@MulderGameChron on insane the build is different. I was running support, sniper, and 2 scouts. My support is full paragon for buffs and sniper on hunter for damage. My scouts commando for mob clear and damage. Commando skills are op with paragon right now. I deleted everything on insane.
