Really crazy to me how much CoP has influenced my painting over the years. In terms of techniques, paint brands, workflow choices etc. Really enjoyed thus one - thanks!
Hell yeah this is dope. Real time footage is always great to see. I think you can learn a lot from watching the actual mechanics of the brush hitting the mini and it's hard to do that sped up!
Always a great time seeing when a new video drops I normally save them for when My day is winding down but with Orktober on the horizon I saw it and got really excited. I love seeing the extra bits too, sometimes when watching painting video it feels like something is left out to get from point A to point B, so seeing just a bit of real-time footage is nice. because while it may not be interesting to some degree it shows that a lot of A to B is back and forth making sure everything is where you want it before moving on
Yeah really nice to see a different style here. Similarly I wouldn't necessarily lean towards this style, but I think your showcase of it might have convinced me to give it a go! Thanks so much for the video. Appreciate the slightly longer format to see more of what you're doing.
I like the way the rust came out, I think it might have been nice to give the chain cloak a light dry-brush of your metallic paint before applying the oils so that you have old and new rust inside the chain links, but a bit of bare metal and and mostly fresh rust on the high points.
Great video, I think painting the skin so nicely then focusing on making loads of texture on the rest of the model gives it a lot of interest. This kind of methodology could probably be applied to a lot of armies to great result
18:20 AK and model color black are quite different. Model color is more matt. AK looks darker because of it's shine. I can see why you would choose one over the other depending on your use case.
The stippling you did on the armor kinda reminds me of Bohun Stupnicki’s style. Reminiscent of his video on World Eater Land Raider doors. Love the yellow and the armor overall BTW.
I just got my warhammer+ ironjawz guy which I was gonna sell despite planning to do ironjawz at some point. But now idk, the new stuff is so good as is this video. I’ve got a few yellow projects already though haha Please do the same style next week : )
Could you kindly offer the same effect in the armour for black and blue armour please? Can I assume you would switch brown/ ice yellow to grey for both black and blue?
Boss i love the skintone color! Maybe in life it is even more contrasted than it looks, even without pinwashes! P.S. For the metallics of this kind of weathered style of an army, why don't you try the old graphite pencil tricks from scale modelling, after washes ecc ecc? You can even create more shiny parts by rubbing it gently.
These new iron jawz are so good.
Happy to hear that you enjoyed painting this and using a technique that was relaxing for you. Seems important in this hobby of ours.

I just had a sh*te day… One „Hello, it’s Henry here“ and I’m feeling joyful already!
Great tutorial.

Wicked model. Always so informative. Sort or long format they are always inspiring.

Looking forward to Orktober

Yeah, tons more could be done.
Really like it can't wait to see more
Perfect way to unwind after a long day at work. Cheers Henry, smashing job with the yellow.
Yea that's an awesome orc! Would love to see you paint more stuff like this.

The modern ironjaws look amazing, it shines when done properly like here :)
I really need to get me an airbrush...
Very nice, looking forward to more video's in this style. Cheers ;)
Looks great Henry, the green is vibrant!
Love the real time footage!!
Can't help but see the new boar model as anything but a Cyboar and men of a certain age will know what I mean.
Lovely skin choice!

Love it!

That a whole new level of stippling!
Looks great!
Leaving in real time footage is totally fine.
Really really nice 👌

I forgot about him!!!! Need to dig that out.

Black I'd just highlight up like I do in this and the follow up MawGrunta video. Blue yeah just grey scale
Thank you Henry.
Wow🎉

Yeah I thought about that. Perhaps we'll give it a go next week.
Can we please get a video of the red damned? 🤩 a tutorial?
from wargame atlantic
aye we were going to be doing some for them, but no word since the KS. Bug them!
Could you offer any advice for recreating the armor effect with a purple scheme in mind?
Swap the yellow out for a purple contrast paint. You could also do grey underneath rather than the brown if you wanted.
Thank you!
New opening?
Nah
I'm pro real time footage.
