It's a dream of mine to have my life narrated by Henry.
Should be a patreon tier
Patrion tier Henery narrates your voice mail 😂
@@ovan2190 I'd pay good money for that
Is it weird that we share the same dream 😂
You'd be mad not to have this dream 😂
Always a pleasure to watch another video, great as always
fantastic stuff and perfect timing. been looking for a red orruk armor scheme and this looks incredible
tag us in some pics if you go with it!
These new Ironjawz releases has gotten me real interested in painting some orruks. Love your takes on the new sculpts.
lots of fun to paint. And I reckon each of those new kits are really good.
Loving the Ironjawz content! Beautiful work on the pig.
Gotta say, I just watch cult of paint videos only for a session of Henry ASMR painting
Awesome Henry! Glad you had so much fun with this model. I picked one up too, I’ve been eyeing those Ironjawz models too. Looks great! I especially love that leather recipe. Great work!
I absolutely resonated with what you said about an army painted in a way that vibes with faster methods; I've got a Death Guard army I've done some really elaborate freehand on, really working out smooth color transitions and painting it to my absolute highest standards. I've painted like 500 points of it, I think I spent 20 hours on 10 poxwalkers.
I've also got >10,000 points of a beastmen army I regularly win best painted army prizes for...and have knocked out 30 guys in 6 hours a couple times, because it's all about rougher techniques like the armor you did here, and I find the process very zen. There's always more I *could* do on those models...but where they end up after speed painting *feels* good on them just due to the subject matter. They look great, and they're fun to just slap paint on even if I'm tired, so I've got loads of them done!
Anything you can do to line up your path to success with your natural inclinations, skills, and limitations is usually worth doing. If you've only got half an hour before bed every couple days to paint, find a model that will look good with stop and start painting and that you can easily jump back into, rather than one that you want to do a really involved and complicated process on.
The best army to take to a tournament is the one you know how to play, and the best model to paint is the one you can find the time to do in the way that excites you!
You are really nailing every tutorial. After watching them I really want to start every of those armies + they are really satisfying to watch.
Awesome job
Love it, especially the red. I think the iron jawz models are really good for that fast but effective level of painting, and the battered armour is a big part of that. The only thing I'm not so keen on is that they all have helmets, and I do prefer to see the faces on my orks.
I think its only the smaller ardboyz that you have to have helmets on now?
@@cultofpaint ah yes, it's the line troops and one of the characters that don't have the option. I guess maybe the 40k heads might fit, although I guess the neck joints are all different these days.
Beautiful :)
I glue mine yesterday and your video is directly the look I want! Thanks for the tips
Looks great! I do my armor panels the same way with one minor exception. I use a sponge to get the random chipped pattern faster. As far as weathering and texture is concerned you really can't beat the good old sponge.
A big pig painted by the Attenborough of mini painting TH-cam. Take my like Sir!
Glorious 🎉
Stunning
Amazing as always
Love this.
Could you do an (updated, video if you havent already) of all the paints and supplies you use? Id love to see everything!
Henry, just want to say what a fanatic job. Quick question about the battered armour. What colours would you use to create the same effect but for a dark blue armour? Thanks.
Thanks! Honestly any blues you like, they'd layer up fine one after the other, you wouldn't need to do the brown/white stage
Really impressed by this sculpt. Especially the face of the pig (minus the drool) and the armor plates looks great. The fur however doesn't hold up in my opinion. I whish GW sculptors would improve on that aspect.
Red tusks with yellow flames and black bands maybe. Feels orkish too me
just wow
love to see the big pig
Great paintjob! I'll paint mine to match my Ironsunz. I have to say that some seams were bad. I've spent some time to hide them, but thankfully when face armor was added they got hidden nicely.
Since I haven't painted IJ model in a while it might not 100% match my old minis, but hopefully I'll do it justice!
Also: I hate that sculpted drool as well...
Yeah some of the seams took a lot of work to fill/blend
Fucking brilliant, top shelf artistry.
I'm wondering ;what you would use as a replacement for VGC Black Green?
Ak black green is also great
This is actually something I’ve wanted to ask for a while. Would you ever apply a varnish with a brush? You use them a lot, and I was wondering if I could get away with following a technique without an airbrush. It seems like that would’ve been a good way to just hit the fur with the satin varnish no?
over a small area, yes sure, over a large area i'd use a rattlecan varnish. Reason being its very easy to get visible brushstrokes on the mini when brushing on varnish.
Love the bold red armour.
Iv been working on logan grimnar since lockdown. On the final wolf atm. Having a time constraint might be what i need. 😂😂😂
Saga worthy
@@cultofpaint ohh absolutely 🤣🤣
Another cracking paint job Henry, enjoyed not seeing Space Marines for a change.
No marines since July! But you'll hate the next few weeks..
Ha ha, I'm sure I wont. Your painting is always good to watch!

27:12 definitely go more often with stuff you love, it shows!
Keeping the pig "Boar-ing" eh? I'll see myself out...
Quality work. Im gonna have to pick up one of these myself.
Please Sir, thankyou for recipe to paint pig. Any chance for recipe to cook pig?
Loved the tutorial, say someone wanted to swap baal red for doomfire magenta, would you recomend using the same colours, rhinox hide and ice yellow etc?
I would yes. BUT you could absolutely just do a grey scale instead. I chose the browns as i was using that for the boar, and the yellow scheme.
@@cultofpaint thanks!
Any chance of seeing one of these turned into a Cyboar?
Hull red is missing from your paint list in the description 😅
probably a bunch of others too
You have definitely to change microphones settings. With my headphones (Yamaha E700) I can hear just bass tones.
I'm going to keep the pig pretty........ boaring. Come for the painting, stay for the puns.
Sometimes you just need to paint a big pig, this really is a way to live life I can respect.
