This video series features the complete restoration of a 1972 CL350 Honda Scrambler motorcycle. The videos should help anyone whether working on a cafe racer build or a full-on original restoration. I'm definitely not an expert so please refer to your manuals for proper disassembly and assembly instructions. Please leave comments if you have any questions. I'll be happy to help answer questions if I can confidently provide solutions. Again, I'm not a professional. This is my 2nd Honda motorcycle restoration and I'm learning every single day. I'd love to hear your tips if you have better ways to do things. I hope you find the series useful and entertaining. I strive to show as much detail as possible so that the videos can be used as not only a how-to resource but also a reference for the placement and original set up of parts and systems.
If you don't have one already please get a manual for your specific project. There are many available online for download for free.
Common Motor Collective, from which I source many of my replacement parts, has a fantastic resource on their website: bit.ly/CBManuals

Keep on wrenching, Friends!

Omg your a life saver that little spring came out when my bike slipped on some ice and i almost went to mechanic till i saw this video and realised why my light wasnt working but its fixed now it only took me about 2mins thanks to this video 🎉
You’re welcome. Glad you found the video.
Thank you for providing these videos. I have learned a lot during my build and used what you have shown several times. You are a great instructor. Thank you.
Thank you for the kind comment. I’m glad the channel had been useful.
Love it, thanks Brian!
No problem!
really helpful. thank you!
No problem, Jacob.
wheres the video of where you wired it up mine only works when i wire it direct to the battery once my existing wiring harness gets plugged in it bypasses the switch and is always on
NVM figured it out 12v brake light wire on harness ------> switch input >>switch output ----------12v + output wire
Glad you got it sorted!
@@KeepOnWrenchingwhere I can see the video I don’t much how to do it
pain in the butt huh........my switch spring was not hooked on the peddle side and I still don't have it's length correct........it will come....Ty
It was finicky. But once it’s in the right spot it’s operates like smooth glass. It doesn’t move much either. Just gotta be patient and find the sweet spot. Good luck, David!
What wiring video?
