That spring flying off made me smile - been there done that. I suggest that there should be a washer under the "R" clip on the front clevis pin? I have used R clips without a washer but they were on safetys to stop a catch coming undone rather than a pivot point.
Good point. I should actually swap that out for a better pin. I don’t think that was right. I noticed afterward I took it from the seat hinges. A proper straight one would be best. Not sure there is room for a washer. Will check tho. Thanks!
My long bolt won’t go all the way in I’m left with a bit a centimetre where it won’t go in completely. Does it need to? I’m guessing yes. The powder coated maybe got paint in the thread as it just won’t go past a certain point and don’t wanna break the bolt head off. Any idea?

That all seems tricky. Glad I saw how you did it. Will help with my project. Thanks Brian
Not too hard but that pin is challenging. You got this! Good luck. Thanks!
Thanks for the vid! This helped me understand the mechanism of the brake pedal better before I replace mine on my Honda Rebel 250.
That’s great to hear! That’s I I kept pushing vids out there. Good luck!!
Did repaint the brake pedal? Looks great.
Nope. Just a long bath in evaporust and some Polish.
Your videos are great ,,,,,
Thanks! Glad they are helpful.
Thank you for the video ! Is there a way to adjust the pedal height ? I want it to be a little lower than the foot peg, thanks.
There’s a small bolt with a locking nut on the back side. You can adjust it there

It’s gotta be the theads. Might need to get in and clear it out. Don’t want it floppy.
nice video bro
Thanks!
When I snug up the pivot bolt, the brake pedal travel gets stiff, but if I back off the bolt I’m afraid it might unscrew during a ride. What to do?
Wonder id you need to clean out some paint so the thing bottoms out?
@@KeepOnWrenchingI don’t understand what you mean about cleaning out some paint, can you pls elucidate?
🎉🎉 awesome
Glad you liked it!
