Donald Trump held a news conference Thursday at Mar-a-Lago, his Florida home, marking his first public appearance since Vice President Kamala Harris became the Democratic presidential nominee and selected Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate.

Other than Ashley Babbit, nobody was killed on Jan 6th. She was the woman who was shot and killed by the cop who "feared for his life," when she was attempting to crawl through a window of a door... while police officers within view were behind her. One person died on January 6h.
@americanmade7997 - I am from Georgia and our local news was focused on the young woman who died in the stampede surge going inside the Capitol building. She literally was crushed and run over. Her name was Rosanne Boyland and she didn't get as much national press coverage as Ashley Babbit but she was killed on January 6th. There is debate about whether to include her in the official death number because she was also a drug user and some people say she had an overdose. Also the police officer Brian Sicknick who was beaten and ended up succumbing to his injuries the next morning. I'm not sure how you missed that one because his death made national news. There were two other people who were also in the surge going into the building but they suffered strokes/ heart attacks and died on the sidewalk. There is debate about them if they should be counted or not, but if you count them that makes 5 people dead including Ashley Babbit. That does not include of course the 140 police officers injured. Some very seriously. Even if you count only Ashley Babbitt and Brian Sidnick that is still more than one person. Honestly, one is too many. It should never have happened.
