I would like this video 10 times if there was that option--15! Seven of the most useful and beautiful ways of storing the ridiculous volume of papers we all have. Thank you!
Wow! Wow! Wow! What great ideas! I love the picture frames and the hook ideas! Can't wait to try these out! Thank you so much for sharing and reminding us of this great video. Hope you are feeling much better now❣
Wow!! Awesome ideas! I particularly like the tension rod idea and the wall hooks. I have 6 wire baskets that I sort paper into but they are only 8.5x11". I don't like to put paper away where I can't see them. Too easy to forget although it's like Christmas when I find them again! Thanks Jackie! I love your videos and I am a subscriber from Canada!
AMAZING! How do you not have hundreds of thousands of subscribers? Love the originality, the video, the editing, the projects which make me get up and make stuff! Congrats on producing such inspiration with such generous value!
LOL Cyd - you made me feel awesome with this comment! I truly enjoy making these videos, and if there are hundreds of thousands of creatives out there that need a little encouragement or inspo - I hope they find their way here. Thank YOU for being here. 🥰
That is a wonderful decorative corner. It is artwork as is. The only tricky part would be remembering which paper is in which storage method. Those last rings you hung on the wall would work on your tension bar as well. Those kids frames are awesome. I had 😅never heard of them before but they are a great way to hang/display a finished collage or other artwork with storage snide, dust free. Thanks for the awesome ideas.
✨💖✨ Surprisingly I already store some of my papers in similar ways to how you demonstrated but not the children's frames, I might try that out. I don't use sheet pans , too big and heavy for me, but I use banker box lids or shoe box lids to sort projects and, because I usually work very small (think atc's), I also sort projects in cello bags kinda like what's used on higher end greeting cards.
Such great ideas. Atm I put mine in boxes but I do forget that I have made papers or textiles starter pieces so your ideas are more than useful. Particularly like the kids storage frames. Be nice to rotate them. Thanks x
Hey Jackie, I love how thorough you were for storage ideas, no matter the living conditions! Now, my next question is...when do we see what some of your finished creations are with some of these papers??
@@PaintedPaperStudio I certainly understand the need to have all the things in their proper place...I cannot create freely in a "noisy" or "chaotic" art space! I just really appreciate all the color theory experiments, and look forward to how they come together for you!
My daughter is a professional baker and last year it dawned on me about the Speed Racks and the sheet pans for storage. I have a short one on wheels and I use full and half sheet pans. I'm going to have to get another though, I store all kinds of finished art and working pieces on it and it's full..lol I found the best price for them was on Amazon. Thank you for all your great idea!
Thank you for your kind words and for watching, Karen. I promise to use them soon and show what I do, but right now, I'm still too attached to them. 😂 Hence the reason for so many storage options 😂🤣😂
Loved these ideas. I’m using the rainbow stacked cart from the container store as I get started. I’d post a pic but don’t know how. I particularly love the curtain Rod idea. Thank you.
Thank you, Judy - I think I know exactly which cart you are talking about - is it this one...www.containerstore.com/s/office/craft-hobby/8-drawer-rolling-cart/12d?productId=11019659
Awesome ideas! Thanks so much for sharing. I’m always looking for new or better ways to get organized. And storing my various papers and scraps are always on the list. Lol.
Thank you, I'm glad you liked the ideas. Storing all the papers is an everyday challenge for me, so I HAD to make this video 😂 Thank you for being here, Alida! 🥰
Absolutely perfect timing on this vid. I’m inundated with paper everywhere. I’m getting started on this today! Doable and so grateful for your great ideas- easy to see you’re a working artist- your paper stash is amazing. ❤️❤️❤️👍👍
Awesome, Teri - I'm so glad this video showed up when you needed it, and I'm so happy you're taking action on it. When my papers are out of control, I feel out of control. Thanks so much for watching! 🥰
😃 ❤ OMGosh Jackie! I LOVE your idea of using the frames to store collage papers! Currently, I use the other ideas you presented. But the frame idea is so cool and looks so arty! I’m going to pick some up today! Thank you so much for sharing!
Very cool storage Ideas! I use a couple of your suggestions already, but the baking pans and those art frames are great! Thanks for sharing your tips with us.
Hi Jackie 😊 this is such a great video with unconventional ideas. I'm gonna keep them in my back pocket. My move back into my studio has once again been delayed by a child wanting to move home for a few months. Eventually, I'll get back in there and your ideas will be implemented. I'm going to have to check the college surplus store for one of those racks you talked about. Thanks for another great video 😍😍
Fantastic. Thank you! I did buy the bakers shelves with the large baker pans for storage and they work very well. But the last three ideas you demonstrated were new to me. I will definitely be trying them out too.
I have baker shelve envy, Nancy! 😍 Someday, when I carve out some space in this room, I'll get one too. Let me know how the other options work out for you. 🥰
When I pass by a pizza restaurant I stop and ask for a large pizza box. They always say yes. They are not transparent, but they stack nicely and I label them by color and types of Mark making.
Jackie, those ideas are great - but do you also have some for sloping walls? My studio has a great amount of floor storage 🤣, but a lack of straight walls. I liked the transparent boxes, because one sees the colours. And they also look nice. I was laughing out loud, when you mentioned the danger of "overstorage". That´s probably the most dangerous danger for all people, who like to print on geliplates. Thanks for this enlightening video. (And may I say, that you look wonderful with your hair open?!) Have a nice weekend. Britta
Oh no, Britta - sloped walls must be such a challenge! I'm not sure what would work for angled walls. I hope someone else has a good suggestion for you. Also, thank you for your very kind words. Right after I finished filming this my husband & I went away for the weekend (I didn't want a "bump" in my hair while we were gone 😂💜)

Thank you, Lori! I hope you can use some of them to tame your paper monster. 😃🥰
I use TV storage boxes from home improvement stores for large art paper. You can't see the papers but they are contained.
WOW! I love this idea, Sharon 😍
Thanks for suggesting this video again - really great ideas!
Hope you're feeling better soon.
Thank you Diane! As of today I am feeling myself again 🥰
Wow! Wow! Wow! What great ideas! I love the picture frames and the hook ideas! Can't wait to try these out! Thank you so much for sharing and reminding us of this great video. Hope you are feeling much better now❣
Thanks Peggy! I am feeling better and hope you do use some of these ideas. 🥰
Thank you Jackie for this video!!! Really needed to help me with storing my papers ❤GREAT IDEAS and definitely user friendly ❤
You're welcome, Anke. I may do another storage video later this year - a lot of viewers sent in their recommendations and they're pretty helpful. 🥰
Great video and wonderful ideas. Thanks for sharing it again.
Hope you're feeling better. As always looking forward to the next video
Thank you very much, LucyLee! 🥰
So many great ideas! Thank you.
You are so welcome - I hope it helps 🥰
Thank you for all the wonderful ideas
You're welcome, Carol! 🥰
I need to get into my studio and organize.
I always dread doing it, and then feel SO good afterwards 🥰
Great ideas Jackie I will be using some of these for my papers. Have a great weekend
Thank you, Christie - I hope you do use some or come up with workable variations of your own. You have a great weekend as well 💜
great ideas
thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you, Onna! I'm so happy you're here. 💜
Great ideas. I have zero wall space but have used some of your methods with a wheel-away clothes cart. Works wonderfully well.
I love this idea - in fact, I can't stop thinking about it, Trini! 😍
@@PaintedPaperStudio It holds an extraordinary amount if artwork when using a double wrung one.

Daisy, I can relate completely - when I "re-discover" papers that have been hidden it feels like I'm connecting with an old friend. 🥰

You're welcome, Sandra! I'm so happy you liked the video. 🥰
Great ideas! Thank you! I use the plastic bins, but will probably try a few of the others, too.
Thank you, Cindy! 🥰
These ideas are so helpful, and I love the frames! Not only are they organizational, but they also look wonderful displaying the pieces of art!!
I'll tell you, Annette - each time I walk into the studio I get super happy seeing those frames 😍 I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
So innovative! Love it!. You are 😻 amazing!
Awwwww Vivian, I need that little cheer today. Thank you. 🥰
So useful.
Thank you, Deb. 🥰
JUST the ideas I NEEDED. Thanks!

Ohhhhhhhh - banker box lids are a fantastic idea, Alice! Thank you for sharing 🥰
So many fantastic ideas….the children’s frames….awesome! Also the wall clips look great!
Thank you, Robin - I am so happy with both! Be on the lookout - the inserts in the frames are going to change out in a couple of videos. 🥰
Great ideas!! 🥰
Thank you, Lori! 💜

I hope they help you out 💜
Fabulous ideas!
Thank you, Margaret!

Yes, when I go through the "hidden" papers it's like visiting old friends 😍
Fantastic storage ideas! Thanks for sharing them!!
Thank you, Dianne! Sometimes you just have to think outside of the (storage) box. 🥰
Thanks!
Thank you for your generosity, Nita, I appreciate you and I'm so happy you're here. 🥰
FanTASTIC IDEAS! THANK YOU! 🙂
Hey Jackie, I love how thorough you were for storage ideas, no matter the living conditions! Now, my next question is...when do we see what some of your finished creations are with some of these papers??
Thank you, Dawn! I know, I have to show more creations, but I just finally got all the paper stored 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
