Cool. I will also be 62 in a little over 18 years as well. This is the 1st time I've heard them. They sound pretty good actually, yh. It sounds a lot like Can's Future Days album, which I discovered 20 years ago, when you discovered these. You should hear that song and band if you've not done. Blatantly a major influence on the music.
No other band is quite as good as Can are it seems. They different.
I'm just 2.5 years old and totally in love with Thievery Corp. Simply splendid.

Thievery Corporation is the only corporation that you don't care if you get robbed by. You don't get scammed, Thievery Corporation just steals your illusions in a form of musicality. What a joy. One of the greatest bands.
The name comes from the band's prehistory - they were known to sample a few songs in their early dawn.

14 years after the made this it’s still a nice fluid background sound for. Party or enjoying at home it’s suitable for everyone. A little Latino sound on here but it’s romantic and the beat is upbeat but not loud. Very nice album for any collection for dinner romance and chill👍🎶

It was a beautiful sunny day as I went for a run out in the sun. A blackbird was singing and as I was listening to Bob Marley I was thinking of some old Reggae and lovers rock and now I'm in the bath listening to this. Never heard this before but I feel blessed.

Saw this band last week at The Wiltern. If you have not seen them in concert, make it your bucket list! These guys are amazing! Their opening band Emancipator is pretty awesome too!

I forgot all about this masterpiece! It was the best album that ever appeared on the Barnes & Noble playlist of music I could select from while working in the music/movie section. Rehearing the first track sounds just as good as it did back then. It was a rough time for me in my life and while it kind of makes me feel sad again, it reminds me of how nothing ever stays the same. The horns at the end take me to another universe.
I discovered this album in Barnes and Noble , playing in the Music section. Maybe 15 or so years ago. My favorite album ever.

I only came across TC when I accidentally heard Le Coeur from their Saudade album and I got so addicted to the entire album immediately. The mixture of different cultures infused in their music is a treat for the ears. As an Indian I was surprised to hear Satyam Shivam Sundaram here ❤
Saudade is special. So much softer in it´s melodies, intonation and lyrics than the other ones. TC may come with 50 jeeps or with a single rose. Nobody knows.

I was on the Arsenal Fest in Kragujevac, and I've seen these amazing people on their live performance twice! They really create beautiful atmosphere wherever they are!
