Thievery has been about a 15 year joy of my life. Made many full moon journeys down the Blue Ridge Parkway with their music as my wingman. Nothing else like it. Love it! Can't wait till the next time they come through Asheville, NC!

My parents were German emigrants to South Africa & 'saddled' me with Burkhard as my name...No-one here could pronounce it correctly & as a young kid I began to detest this name. The bassist is very underrated and who plays a sitar. They also find vocalist like they have them growing in a garden picking them to showcase whenever they feel like it.

It was like midnight at shotgun shacks on the Neches River in the Big Thicket of East Texas breaking up a pound and listening listing to Beeker Street out of Little Rock.
The punch bowel was filled with Southern Comfort and Dr. Pepper while we inhaled on Free-on in a whispering balloon.
