- Vancouver has definitely turned into a 777 mecca, as we only got 4 747's in the other day, which is also more than usual. Captured Korean Air Cargo 747-400F, Cathay Cargo 747-8F, Korean Airline 747-8i, and Lufthansa 747-400. Enjoy these 4 landing!! Thanks for watching!

Beautiful, my favorite aircraft since I was a little boy. The Boeing 747 is a beautiful aircraft, it has been appropriately named the Queen of the sky. Thank you for sharing your very well made spotting video.
Cool here in Anchorage I see 747s every 10 minutes LOL
I'm from Vancouver and I spend a lot of time in Richmond so I often get to see planes flying overhead en route to YVR. You're right about it being a 777 mecca, it's like almost every other plane I see is a 777 since they are pretty much the go-to for long haul flights.
747s are definitely a symbol of a whole different decade of flight.

+AvgeekYVR I wish too. Airlines seem to get rid of there QOTS. Air France did it a few month ago, in France the only airline operating 747 is CORSAIR. And the 747-8 doesn't seem to work very well. A few airlines have order this bird, even though the 777 is Great bird.

Qantas are returning to Vancouver on June 30th 2016 as QF75 it will be a 747-400/747-400ER.

Your welcome, they usually fly to Vancouver seasonal in December, January, June, July and August. And fly I believe 3 days a week arriving at YVR at 2pm and departing back to Sydney 9PM.
Nice Video liked, I would like to see A Cathay Pacific Cargo 747 soon. Do you know which days they come to YVR.
+HaaHaa HeeHee Not too sure about the schedule / flight numbers it operates, but looking at CX2091, I see its next flight to YVR will be on the 27th inbound from LAX. It came June 20th, June 22nd, next June 27th. Ill see what else I can find.

I don't really care for the 747-800 series. It looks too much a like a 787 Dreamliner with the nose of a 747.
