    I have a 2010 SVT with the 6.2 motor, mine is the Extended Cab with suicide doors. I always tend to park away from everyone else simply because they are jerks even with smaller cars, so I try to prevent door dings by parking further away. I don't mind walking a little extra to keep my paint job looking new.
    I alway pull into a spot from straight across to get it inside the lines more evenly. Lowes has a better parking lot than Walmart does because they are always so full, so I tend to park in the angled spots around the side, easy in and easy out.
    I get 14.9 to 15 mpg, and I have the extra added benefit of a fuel saving sticker on my back window warning people "Not Fast, Just Loud" it saves me a lot of fuel keeping it at 60 mph. 😁
    Those mirrors fold in too for further protection. The newer ones have the power mirrors. I'm so sorry that someone felt the need to be a total jerk with your truck, some people are a walking bad attitude no matter what happens.
    I got a decent deal on my truck when I got it in August of 2021. 28,000.00 and 138,000 miles. I'm happy with it. Mine has the Icon shocks instead of the Fox, and they have the adjustment knobs to make the shock softer, or firmer, depending on your conditions at the time. I use mine around my farm because it's virtually impossible to get out when it snows in a front wheel drive car. I've got the BF Goodrich KO2's on 17 inch rims, It's all stock.

    I have a 2018 Dodge Charger scat pack and I’m trading it in for a 2012 ford raptor. I just need a pickup. The ford raptor has been on my mind for years. The 1st gens are in the price range on my scat pack. Your videos helped confirm that I could get one without worrying about reliability. Except for the fuel pump that breaks on every ford I’m thinking I should be ok. Lol. Thanks

    Lol your cons list. If you bought a raptor for fuel efficiency, you didn't do your homework. A set of mud flaps for the front wheel wells will help it stay clean. So those fancy fox shocks are meant to be rebuilt, not replaced. I had all 4 shocks rebuilt for under 700 bucks. And there are several businesses that do a fine job. As for parking it's actually not that bad. It's the easiest truck I've ever had to park. Especially since most have back up cameras, and sensors. now here is a con the oem halogen headlights are shit, the hids are better. Also the first ford sync navigation system is hot garbage look for a 2013 plus raptor for sync 2. Anyway I enjoyed watching your video, definitely had a laugh or 2.

    • @drainmonkeys385
      @drainmonkeys385 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agreed. The first time I drove mine.. I was a bit intimidated because it was in a car lot with a row in front and in back and a car on each side, so getting out was a little unnerving, but I soon got over that.. you just gotta make wider turns.. I drive a big high roof extended transit 350 for work.. and that’s worse..

      @jasonperry2244 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Rumpl4Skyn they did originally have the 5.4, it didn't get any better gas mileage, and most felt like it was underpowered, thats why after 2011 svt exclusively put in the 6.2. Even the second gen raptor doesn't get much better mpg, and its lighter and half the displacement of the 6.2 lol if your buying a raptor for its fuel efficiency your going to be disappointed.

      Mine takes a synthetic blend. It's not bad. I get mine done at the same dealership I bought it from. I think it was right around 49.95 but I only get to drive it one week out of the month because I am an OTR driver, so my oil changes last longer than normal.
